About this ebook

Cece Cassidy was used to writing the story, not being it. Yet somehow the tabloids had figured out her passionate history with Jack Hudson... and his connection to the dark-haired little boy she'd "adopted." Too bad her baby's father was the last to know. Now Jack was going all caveman on her, forcing her into a lavish Tinseltown wedding with none of the marital benefits. The movie mogul had stomped on her heart yet again, but she couldn't help craving his touch...and wishing she could give their tempestuous romance a Hollywood ending .

The plot is unconvincing. The behavior of the main characters of the the reasons of it are downright ridiculous. It reads very artificial.

While this was diverting, it didn't have much substance, to be honest. Cece and Jack have known each other since they were kids, but when they run into each other again as young adults, they realize a powerful attraction for one another. Unfortunately, Jack's one of those romance novel heroes who believes he'll turn into his dad (and be a terrible boyfriend/husband/father) and he breaks things off when Cece begins to get serious.Fast-forward three years and Jack's a successful producer like the rest of his powerful family, Cece's a successful screenwriter, and she's never told Jack that her 3 yr-old son, Theo, is also Jack's.This was sexy, with nice chemistry between the characters (and some of that lovely,chest-clenching romance), but the change-of-heart and the reconciliation happens waaaaaay too abruptly.*I read this as a judge for the 2010 Bookseller's Best Award
