      I don't understand why she even want to go back to him when their initial problem is still lingering between them. And why bother to return to a man who won't even try and believe you. Sigh.

      this is a story of emotional rollercoasters. she is being used ans she knows it, but she still hang around, he ignores her in public, she still doesn't leave. finally, near the end, she gave up and left him...for a few months he ignored her and went on with his racing and whatever it is he's doing...then out of the blue he showed up at her doorstep saying i love you and she gave in...jeez, talk about glutton for punishment... whst woman would associate herself with this character? the author describes her as beautiful there must be a good man worthy of her and not be a stupid emotional slave to this jerk!
