The is a continuation of the Hamilton family series and this story is about Chris Hamilton, the only family member who broke away from the "Hamilton Media" family business and became a police officer. In this story (which picks up where book one left off), Chris is asked to find out who is threatening Felicity Simmons, who is working for The Davis Landing Dispatch. Felicity is not thrilled at being guarded, but she finds out that Chris is just as determined as she is to do his job. As the story progresses, the messages get more threatening and as Chris and Felicity spend more time together, they both realize how much they appreciate and love one another. I enjoyed getting to know Chris Hamilton better in this story. He enjoys his job, loves his family, and even though the family may not appreciate it his not working for them, I think they finally come to accept him and his job as a policeman. The stories in this series are all written by different authors, but they all do a great job and continuing the story where the one before it lets off. You could read them each as stand alone stories, but I highly encourage you to read them in the order they were written. I have already read the first 4 books, and I haven't been disappointed in any of them so far.
