4 Stars/Fiction; RomanceWhen sexy new CEO, Cameron McCormac shows up at his companys Christmas party, the last thing he expects is to hear an apology from a costume clad Peppa Grant for damaging his fancy car on her way in. Intrigued by her, Cameron offers his forgiveness if she agrees to go with him to a family gathering where all his matchmaking relatives appear to be working overtime. Of course, Peppa cannot resist and it doesn't take long before the sparks begin to fly. Their mutual attraction leads to an incredible one night stand but when they discover they both want different things in life, they realize that one perfect night might be all they get. This is a sweet, satisfying story full of emotion and sexy romance. I was very impressed with all the touching details that Johns was able to convey in this short length novella. I definitely want to read more by this author. Recommended.

I really enjoyed reading this book. A romance book with a great ending that will make the reader teared up. Just like i am when i read it. The story started with Peppa who in exchange to compensate her boss' for her wrong doing, agreed to play as his companion to attend his family function. Cameron, who is desperately trying to avoid another scheme of matchmaking from his family is going all out to find someone doubling as his girlfriend. Attractions between them sparks and both of them seems not be able to get enough of each other and Cameron find himself finding ways and means just to be with Peppa. However, things changed when Peppa reveal that she is pregnant with their child. Cameron rejected her and it was heartbreaking to see the way Peppa handling the situation on her own.I was crying when i read about Cameron trying to make up for the mistakes that he make and when Peppa was in so much pain due to appendicitis, i was so afraid that she lost her baby.. i cried when both Cameron and Peppa reconcile their differences.

Good story but I felt the hero needed to do more for the heroine to show he really loved her. The ending was a little disappointing how quickly she forgave him after everything he put her through. But overall, it was an okay read.

This book from the beginning to the end is what I would say a true romance novel worth reading. The two main characters are both dealing with loss, pain and hurt, Cameron is dealing with the loss of his wife and is very scared to open up his heart again. Peppa has been dumped by her ex-fiancé who pretty much runs out and gets married to a co-worker instantly. If that wasn’t enough Peppa is also trying to deal with the loss of a baby finding out she may never be able to have children.

So first we meet Peppa, at her Christmas work party they find out the entertainment for the children has came down with food poisoning, so Pippa runs out and rents a fairy costume so they don’t have to cancel the children’s party. On her way back she swerves to miss a cat and ends up side swiping her new boss’s fancy car. This is where Cameron comes into the picture and while she fesses up to him about the accident he appears not too worried about this, with a sexy smile he offers her a deal; if she attends his family Christmas party that evening as his date he will call it even and she won’t have to pay for the damages. Peppa agrees.

I really enjoyed this book, it was funny, romantic and of course you fell in love with Peppa and only wanted the best for her. It is well written and the characters were great it kept me turning the pages to see what was going to happen next. If you love romance novels this is a book for you to read.
