Unbearable Cross

Summary

Many Christians live by the mantra, "God will never put on us more than we can bear."

What if that statement is not true? What if it is not what the Bible teaches?

Sincere and devout believers in Jesus often lose their faith when they experience life-crushing tragedy and disaster. They have felt more trouble and weight than they can humanly carry. They feel that God has been untrue to his promise, and they feel foolish for trusting Him.

An untrue promise has been passed to them by well-meaning saints.

The author proposes that if God placed a cross upon His own Son that HE could not bear, He may find it necessary to do the same to His Children towards the accomplishment of His greater plan.
