    Chapter One: Plan A

    In the not too distant past, a thief named Ladino Ladrāo lived in Angonia. He was the type of person who likes to make money fast, and without too much effort. He moved around from place to place stealing chickens, goats and sheep. Although he was caught now and again, and punished, he did not mend his ways because he simply couldn’t think of another way to make a living. He was a thief, plain and simple. That’s what he did.
