Ms Amazing: Reign of the Minotaur
(Synne City Super Heroines in Peril)
If we have to, we rip this town apart!
Ms Amazing said, baby blues flashing.
Gold Avenger, Midnight Avenger, and Glory Gal nodded, nothing but fury in their beautiful masked faces. Synne City's top four super heroines stood atop Daul Towers, the city's tallest building. From their downtown position they could see to all corners of the sprawling city.
I will not allow my daughter to be taken like this,
Gold Avenger snarled, though a hot tear rolled across her cheek. She's more than a sidekick. She's my heart.
Ms Amazing felt her own eyes burning, seeing anguish in her friend's face. None of the other assembled heroines were related to their protégés, though all had powerful personal relationships. The city's top super heroine couldn't think of her sidekick, Amazing Girl, without getting choked up. It was just as much a super heroine mentor's job to protect her sidekick as it was to train her.
I still don't understand how it happened,
Glory Gal said. She paused to adjust her silver power belt, snug around her tiny waist. Seeing that unconscious gesture, Ms Amazing touched her power belt, which was gold, for comfort as well. If we can figure out either who took them, or how they were all taken at once, then we're halfway to rescuing them.
The how was they were all together,
Midnight Avenger said. Our fault for making them wait while we went ahead and checked out that magical brouhaha over on the docks.
Ms Amazing scowled. Most witches were with the Council of Witches, so were there to help super heroines. Sometimes their help wasn't needed or appreciated, and more often than not it just complicated things. Witches that were not members of the Council weren't necessarily enemies or criminals, but there were a few bad apples in every profession. In this case, it was a good witch battling a bad witch. More specifically, Synne City Council Witch, Jazz, was in full magical battle with a recent arrival, Sorceress Tabatha.
The four heroines' arrival tipped the battle to Jazz's favor, and her nemesis vanished promptly. Maybe they spent too long quizzing Jazz, because when they returned to Daul Towers the sidekicks were nowhere to be found.
Four hours of frantic searching hadn't turned up a single clue to the fate of the missing sidekicks. Ms Amazing thought it smacked of magic, and feared the battle on the docks was a diversion. But how would the criminals know they'd leave their sidekicks behind, and where they'd be left?
I am so mad I could ripped someone apart!
Midnight Avenger cried. The beautiful African-American clenched her teeth as she stared out across the blinking lights of the night shrouded city. She tapped on her silver tiara, with the purple gemstone that was her Object of Power, which just showed how stressed she was at the moment. How could no one see anything? Aaaggh.
All four heroines were dressed much alike on first blush. Different color schemes was the main difference. All wore skimpy, form-fitting bustiers, thong-like short-shorts, and thigh boots. Ms Amazing wore a blue top and boots, with red bottoms, while Midnight Avenger wore lavender bustier, purple shorts, and lavender boots. Both Glory Gal and Gold Avenger were monochromatic: Gold Avenger in all shiny gold and Glory Gal in purest white. All wore masks and opera gloves.
We're wasting precious time. Let's meet back here at sunrise,
Ms Amazing said. Hit anyone and everyone that even remotely might know something, or have reason or opportunity to even contemplate pulling this wicked deed off.
Hell yeah,
Midnight Avenger said, and leapt into the air.
Gold Avenger dived off the side of the building, and was soon seen streaking at breakneck speed towards the Tenderloin. Glory Gal and Ms Amazing stared at each other a long moment, their eyes filled with dread.
If they hurt my Glory Girl, I might not be able to keep my vow not to kill,
Glory Gal whispered, bright blue eyes narrowing to slits. I am filled with such rage it frightens me.
I know,
Ms Amazing said, eyes burning and tears flowing. I'm almost too mad to function. Too scared. I'm afraid of what I might do.
Glory Gal wiped angrily at her eyes and nodded, and then jumped straight up and flew away. Ms Amazing watched her go, heart heavy and racing. It wasn't the first time all of their sidekicks were taken by a single person, but it was the first time they all vanished at once. And without a single clue, too.
This will not end well,
she growled, and leaped over the side of the skyscraper and flew away. If we don't find them soon, and in one piece, the city's criminals will know true terror!
––––––––
I think we're ready, my pretties,
Sorceress Tabatha said, smirking at the four bound and gagged sidekicks. Well, I'm ready. I doubt any woman can truly be ready to be sacrificed to Minotaur!
The tall, busty redhead walked around her pentacle, double-checking her work. It was carefully drawn on the stone floor with red chalk. The ancient mystic symbol was a five-pointed star within a double circle, as the Spell of Summoning required. Her four virgin sacrifices were held upright and immobile at four of the points of the star. Tabatha would cast the spell at the last and bottom
point.
The evil witch, who preferred to be called a sorceress, smoothed her black satin gown, with the daring slit up her right leg. Her long, shapely legs were sheathed in black hose, ending in sky-high stilettos. A wide, black leather cincher encircled her waist, from which hung power fetishes and other talismans. The gown was low cut, displaying a generous amount of bust, not unlike the costumes of her four captives, each dressed much like her super heroine mentor.
Tabatha fluffed waist-length, curly red-orange hair and rubbed her full lips together.
Oh, I just noticed,
she said, grinning as she took her position at the bottom of the pentacle. You are all blondes. What is it about super heroines being so top-heavy with blondes? Explains the high rate of bimboism, though.
Ugh! Uh!
Amazing Girl said around her blue ball-gag. Her eyes narrowed behind her blue mask. Her midriff baring top was opened, hanging from her shoulders and displaying her generous breasts. She was bound to a steel crossbar atop a steel post. Her arms were pulled back and draped over it, then tied to the post. Her red booted legs were bound to the base of the post at the ankles. All four of the sidekicks were bound the same way, put on display for Minotaur's pleasure before he consumes their bodies and souls as his due reward. Uh-huh! Uh-huh!
All four sidekicks still wore their Objects of Power, the magical talismans that gave each her ability to tap into the Otherworld and enjoy such benefits as super strength and endurance, fast healing, and the ability to fly. Without their Objects they were just scantily clad beautiful women. Normally, Tabatha would remove their Objects of Power immediately. Depowered they were much easier to handle and manipulate. But being magically enhanced at the moment of sacrifice would make them a much greater gift to an Immortal, and thus help her sink her claws deeper into
