About this ebook

Luciano Peretti may still be the handsome and hot-blooded man she fell for six years ago, but now Skye wants nothing to do with him! She can't forget Luc's rejection of her then, or how she refused his wicked family when they tried to bribe her to end her pregnancy. Since then, she's raised her son single-handedly — poverty-stricken but proud.

But Luc is determined to take back the bride and the child who were stolen from him — and there's one quick and effective way to do it: marriage!

Maybe the best harlequin book I’ve read. Not the similar plot line of most the books. Must read.

This is a must read. For once, a romance book where both parties loved each other and knew that they did; where the battle came from outside them. This is a book where the love was never in question. A wonderful, heart wrenching, soul warming read.

No no no no no! Ugh! The first sin of this book is that it is boring. I skimmed and skimmed. Sooooo slow.

The second sin was this ridiculous forgiveness and embracing toxic and manipulative people into your lives. What was done to the two of them by his family was beyond revolting and utterly unforgivable. The only correct answer was to tell his family to take a flying leap and go make their own lives together elsewhere. I was one hundred percent disgusted with the ending to this book. It was so bad I refused to read the final chapter with the wedding, because GAG. So unhealthy and toxic.

Just okay. I hated that he didn't even try to find her over those years. I hated his Father too. He also had sex with other people while apart and she didn't. Sick of double syandards.

Very boring. It's about fighting with the guy's mommy and daddy. Yawn.

An incredible story of love and family cultures. Luc was the prefect hero and his love for Sky is what every woman hopes for.
