    Article 1.

    The playing court must be rectangular, with a surface whose dimensions to measure: 23.77 m in length and 8.23 m in width. It is divided into 2 equal parts by a transversely placed net, supported in the superior margin by a rope or a metallic cable with a maximum diameter of 0.8 cm, whose ends are anchored of 2 pillars of 1.07 m in height, immobilized at 0.914 m outside the court. The net has a height of 0.914 m in the center, where it is supported by a strap of maximum 5 cm in width. The cord (the metallic cable) and the superior part of the net will be covered with a strap with the dimensions comprised between 5 and 6.3 cm in height. The lines that mark the extremities and the lateral parts of the court are called bottom lines and lateral lines (image 1).
