      Ariana

      The day starts ordinarily, with the alarm going off at four in the morning.

      Ugh! I'm up! Ariana says as she turns the alarm off.

      She gathers her work clothes to get dressed; jeans, a black tank top, and a long sleeve shirt since its getting colder outside. Nothing fancy seems how Ariana works in a factory in Elk Ville, Indiana, building floors for moving trucks.

      Ariana makes her way to the kitchen to grab her lunch she packed the night before and heads out the door. Walking down the stairs from her apartment, she can't help but feel like today is going to be a good day. Ariana gets in her car and off to work she goes.

      On her way to work Ariana sings along with the radio, ....you were Romeo throwing pebbles and my Daddy said stay away from Juliet... Yeah, today was definitely going to be a good day.  Ariana arrives at work, and as she is walking in, her boss starts the daily teasing,

      Am I gonna get some floors built today Ariana?

      Nah, I feel like being lazy today, Ariana teases back, Maybe you should get the guys working back there instead.

      They both chuckle as she enters the factory. Little did she know about the next few days ahead and how they would affect her life forever.

      As Ariana walks to her station she is greeted by co-workers,

      Morning, Ariana! Diane squeals

      Good morning, D. Ariana replies, happily.

      When Ariana reaches her station she preps for the day. Ariana is laid back and gets along with everyone. She works hard and is very productive. She remembers new workers start today and hopes she doesn't have to train anyone. She hates training new people. They take forever to pick everything up. They mess up on every floor and are slow. Training is the worst part of her job.

      She would be happy with just being able to build floors and not have to worry about anyone else. Her partner started shortly after she did so their training was done together. Ariana didn’t really have to worry about him. He knew what he was doing. God, she really hopes she doesn’t get any new workers.

      Everything is going great, and Ariana and her partner have already built three floors before they made it to their first break. There were also no signs of any new workers.

      Ariana is prepping the fourth floor of the day and the break bell rings. She is glad because she could really use some water right about now. As Ariana makes her way to the break room, she sees a group, of who she assumes to be new workers, heading toward the boss’s office. Moment of truth.

      She thinks to herself.

      Let’s hope, after break, we don’t have to train anyone.

      Kyan

      Its three a.m. and I can't go back to sleep.

      Kyan thinks to himself.

      Why can't I sleep? I don't have to be awake until four in the morning. I know I'm not nervous. This isn't my first job, and I've done this kind of work before. Maybe I'm just excited after being out of work for three months. Yeah, that's it. I guess I will just get ready early.

      Kyan grabs his clothes; a black t-shirt that hugs his chest, showing his muscles and a pair of jeans that fit just right. After he gets dressed, he heads downstairs to see what he can make for breakfast.

      Kyan heads out the door after eating bacon and eggs. He listens to music on the way. Still feeling excited, he stops to get gas and some coffee, and then makes his way to start his new job.

      When Kyan gets to the factory he seeks out his new boss. Kyan is walking everywhere trying to find him; up and down the aisles, in and out of the break room.

      God, if I don’t find him soon people are gonna think I’m creepy.

      After 10 minutes of looking, Kyan finds Mack.

      Hi Mack. I'm ready to start the day. says Kyan excitedly

      Morning, Kyan. I am still waiting for a few more people, so meet me in my office at six o'clock. Mack says. We’ll discuss where everyone will be working then.

      Okay. Replies Kyan as he walks off to scout his new job.

      While he makes himself aquatinted with his new work setting, he meets some of the guys.

      Hey man, what's up. I'm Gladeon. He greets Kyan.

      What's up? I'm Kyan. Just started today. Kyan replies with a smile.

      Well, this is Lynal. We work in shelling. Maybe you will work with us. Our other guy quit. Says Gladeon excitedly.

      Yeah, maybe. Kyan shrugs. I have to go see Mack. I'll catch up with you guys later.

      Kyan finishes his self-tour of the factory and starts to make his way back to Mack’s
