About this ebook

The old man next door, Old Man Rab, has disappeared and been replaced by the sinister Mrs Hitchcock and now no-one remembers him, except nine year old Kim Cutbush.

His Mum and Dad think he's mad but It’s not just Rab who has gone. All over the village, people’s loved ones are disappearing and being stitched, or ripped out of time, and no-one can remember them except poor Kim, the only one who sees what she is doing.

The only one who has the chance to save them from her is a child.

Edgar Million

Edgar Millions books are mostly sci-fi, with a dash of fantasy, horror and contemporary fiction thrown in.I have numerous stories available on Smashwords all free of charge and one short novel, A Button To Save the World (available for a miniscule fee - or for free to anyone who follows me on Twitter and asks for it).I grew up in London and studied Art and Animation at Central St Martins and Surrey Institute of Art and Design, and thanks to Smashwords have finally found something to do with all the short stories I write to distract me from the novel I'm now attempting to edit. The novel, my first full length book, is going to be called “Ordinary” and would have published already if I didn't keep being interrupted by regularly having to attend a day job to earn money.

Most weekends Johnny’s band would practice in the red brick garage, whilst Kim would lounge about in front, pressed hard against the dappled aluminium garage door to listen to blazing axe sounds which to his tender ears sounded full and accomplished, although the neighbours were less keen, especially Mrs Hitchcock, their, soured faced neighbour, who looked upon rock music as the foul outpourings of a world she had outgrown.

Johnny Cutbush was the bands lead singer and guitarist, and would probably chased him off if he had known he was there, so Kim kept quiet and still, and listened to the rough guitar sounds and coarse words used by the sixteen-year-old Johnny and his friends Joshua and Daniel.
