The Mastercreeper Plan #2
Chapter one
Now that Steve had his army of big nosed, lumpy headed butt-kickers assembled, it was time to go after the creeper. Or, at least, they could do if they had any idea where to find it. As its name would suggest, it had probably gone to ground. It couldn’t hide forever though, and as soon as it raised its ugly green head, it was going to be guacamole.
Like a mother duck leading a procession of giant ducklings, Steve and the golems headed to a nearby town to purchase supplies for the quest. With both golems and villagers looking on interestedly, he crafted some durable (and stylish) golden armor, traded his fire sword for a diamond one, and rounded it off with a diamond helmet that sparkled like the sky on a cloudless night. When he’d finished, he looked at himself in the mirror, cooler than an iceberg in a freezer compartment, he told himself, grinning. He was ready to kick green butt, time to be a disaster heaper on the Master Creeper, he thought, with cheerful optimism.
When Steve went back outside into the late-afternoon sunshine, he saw the group of villagers had grown into a crowd. One stepped forward, a rose clasped in her blocky hand.
This is for you, outsider. We are all so grateful to you for defending us against the beast
Steve blushed with a mixture of pride and embarrassment. To him, the real Minecraft world was still an adventure. He had never considered what it must be like for this to be the only world he knew, to be born, live and die here with the constant trials and dangers it threw at the villagers. He resolved to do everything in his power to help these kind, simple people. He didn’t, as yet, know how the Minecraft universe could be both real and a game, but he did know that people were suffering, and it was time to make some changes.
He thought about this as he walked over to the potion shop. The Redstone golem could see that Steve was worried about something, and lumbered over to him to check.
Something the matter?
He asked.
"Yeah. I’m just worried about what was going to happen next. I’m so happy I have you guys on my side, but I’m not sure what the next few days are going
