Defining Eternal Leadership

The word Eternal stands for style forever and hence Eternal Leadership stands for Leadership Style Forever. The definition of Eternal Leadership is as under:

Eternal Leadership is referred as style of leadership in which 1] leader focus on Knowledge, nature & action to the best own ability for constructive progress, 2] Time implication & opportunities are well imbibed in leadership approach, 3] strive to control mind with state of evenness, balance & equality, 4] concentrate, meditate & introspect on requisite occasions, 5] align food for development of body & mind, 6] drive through a great vision, strong determination and ever alive confidence as way of life, 7] Understand & follows eternal values of leadership, 8] enriched with 5 fold ethical values of human life, 9] engages self in Karma-Yagya, Gyan-Yagya and Vichar-Yagya for excellence and 10] focus on fitness of body, mind & speech. These 10 fold elements together are defined as Eternal Leadership.

The above definition is elaborated as under in brief:

1. Understand KNA wheel theory of leadership and drives development of mind with two fold ways using Knowledge & Action.

2. Understand implication of "The Time River" on Knowledge, nature & action and optimise these to win along with flow of Time River.

3. Importance of a] The Moral State of Evenness, b] The balance and c] The Vision of Equality is understood and applied in course of action.

4. Lead through CMI Model of Leadership – Concentrate, Meditate and Introspect

5. Believes that food drives body & mind and hence understand 3 fold classification of Food and choice of food for great leadership

6. Lead through continuous focus on Vision, Determination & Confidence – The 3 pillars of leadership

7. Understand and drive through 26 values of Eternal leadership

8. Understand 5 fold ethical values which exists in human life and application to the best of own ability

Rules Defining Eternal Leadership

Eternal leadership is an inspirational translation of Srimad Bhagavad Gita in light of global leadership scenario. Here 379 inspirational leadership rules have been defined as part of 1st edition of Eternal Leadership. Following are synopsis of rules which laid down the foundation of 300+ leadership rules of leadership. It has been given here in brief in chapter 1 and detailed rules have been explained from chapter 2 to chapter 18.

01 Lead by Knowledge of Enriched Human Respect

Eternal Rule of leadership 018 || The leader should drive through the knowledge which enhances The Vision of Equality for humanity, as vision of equality is 1] way to prosper respect ability of self and 2] also in turn as way to win respect from the people we interact and deal with. The leader should drive self with knowledge which helps him to observe equality in humanity despite people being different by body & mind. [18.20] ||

02 Focus on developing mind of high order

Eternal Rule of leadership 072 || The leader must understand and strive for moral state of higher order in which 1) the mind is available in present to achieve perfection in execution, 2) the mind is free from egoistic notion, 3) endued with high level fortitude & determination in life, 4) build with courage of greatness and 5) able to balance the moral atmosphere in success & failure. [18.26] ||

03 Focus on Intellect of Right Discrimination to Excel

Eternal Rule of leadership 075 || The job of intellect is understanding distinction between right and wrong. Focus on intellect development of higher order in which 1) work to be done and not to be done is very clear, 2) right and wrong work is very clear, 3) where to fear and where not is also very clear, 4) which understand the action leading to bondage and the action leading to liberation. [18.30] ||

04 Focus on High Order Action Leading to Victory

Eternal Rule of leadership 110 || The leader must know and strive for high order actions which stands for 1) action executed being free from selfish gain, 2) free from attachment to the outcome of action, 3) free from favouritism, hatred & aversion, 4) concentrating in present, and 5) being away from disturbance of results of future, these 5 fold elements amount to high order action. [18.23] ||

05 Understand Time and Optimise Actions to Leverage Along with Time River

Eternal Rule of leadership 040 || The leader of wisdom must learn 3 sets of leadership ability which arises from the time 1) Visioning & Planning ability from the future, 2) Execution ability from the present and 3) Analytics & Observation ability from past. While a sound combination of all these ability is must, the visioning ability is the strong differentiator of the leadership. ||

06 Strive for Moral State of Evenness – the way to Maturity & Firm Personality

Eternal Rule of leadership 150 || It is state of wisdom in which the mind is not disturbed by the waves of past and future; the mind is not shaken by the thoughts of success & failure, victory & defeat. This Moral State of Evenness is much better state than the mind disturbed by thoughts of desire and the thoughts of results. The leader of wisdom should seek refuge in this Evenness of Mind because this is the way to act in this world with great control. [2.49] ||

Eternal Rule of leadership 156 || Having conditioned own mind with this Moral State of Evenness, the moral distractions are always away, the moral disturbance whether positive or negative are never closer. In this state, the mind is relaxed and free to think what great vision is and what great actions are? Placed here the mind is set to act for success because here is the full amount of moral concentration. Achieving the Moral State of Evenness must be focus area for leaders to multiply the visioning ability and achieve excellence in action. [2.50] ||

Eternal Rule of leadership 160 || Removing the moral disturbance of success & failure, setting your mind away from the temptation of the gains that would arise and the loss that would occur, place your mind in the State of Evenness. This Moral State of Evenness is called the YOGA, the Excellence; having placed there, the leader should allow his mind to think and should allow his mind to act. The actions evolved with this state of mind will obviously be amazing and of great kind. [2.48] ||

07 Know the CMI Lodel of Leadership Concentrate, Meditate & Introspect

Eternal Rule of leadership 178 || CMI model of leadership prescribes 3 fold ways of excellence to leaders, applicable to enhance efficiency of mind and identifying direction of excellence. 1] Concentrate, 2] Meditate and 3] Introspect are 3 fold ways, which leader must use on right occasions on the way to perfection.

08 Drive with the Vision of Equality: The way to win respect

Eternal Rule of leadership 201 || This is known as The vision of equality when one has built his own moral frame to see with equal regard 1) to friend or to the enemy, 2) to the relatives or to the non-relatives. Having placed mind in equal regard in the thing which is right and also to the thing which is wrong, the leader achieves the ability to take unbiased judgement in his areas of action. [6.09] ||

09 Know 3 Pillars of Leadership: Vision, Determination & Confidence - Must to have Approach for Every Leader

Eternal Rule of leadership 254 || the leader should lead by a great vision, high order determination and ever alive confidence in self. Vision, determination and confidence are 3 pillars of leadership existence. 1) First pillar is about deciding the vision & goal, 2) second pillar is holding the defined vision & goal by high order fortitude & determination and 3) the third pillar is marching forward always with confidence, inspiration and motivation. A sound combination of these 3 is great leadership. ||

Eternal Rule of leadership 257 || For live state of human life, as the soul bind fast to the mind and senses so that human life is alive, so the leader with strong determination should bind fast to his great vision to ensure that vision is always alive in the mind. In the live state of human life, the soul never separate self from mind, body and breathe, so the great leader should bind fast his determination to his vision. Ever alive determination is way to win. [18.33] ||

10 Food Driving Development of Mind & Body

Eternal Rule of leadership 243 || Level 1 food [high order food] is about food which 1] enhances life scale, 2] gives energy & strength to mind & body, 3] provides resistance power for dieses, 4] feeling of lightness & happiness after eating, 5] provides sufficient energy need of the body & mind, from liquid to substance and 6] aligned with human digestion ability. This is high order food which should be approached to nourish the mind & body in order to gain all around fitness of personality. [17.08] ||

11 Know Eternal Values of Leadership – The Way to Excellence

Eternal Rule of leadership 272 || Values are backbone of leadership, having built of great kind in nature, the leadership shine like sun, enlightened through great actions setting ideal milestone. The leaders must understand and practice values of Eternal Leadership to shine self on the way to leadership. [16.01 – 16.04] ||

Eternal values set 1 > Eternal Rule of leadership 273 || The Eternal Values of Leadership is defined as, 1) Operating fearlessly, 2) Being honest and fueled with high order ethical values, 3) Mind firm with yoga of knowledge, 4) Impart donation of high order, 5) Controlling senses by mind, 6) action enjoined by ordinance and performed for sake of performance and not for selfish motive, 7) engaging in self-study and continuously focused on gaining knowledge in relevant areas, 8) following high order austerities of mind, body and speech, 9) Uprightness, [16.01] ||

Eternal values set 2 > Eternal Rule of leadership 274 || 10) practicing non-violence and non-injury, 11) speaks truth, 12) preventing and controlling anger, 13) renunciation of higher order, 14) driving peace in internal & external world, 15) leading with human approach and not wild, 16) kindness of ideal order to humanity, 17) Un-Covetousness, 18) Gentleness in behaviors, 19) Modest in approach and moderate in efforts, 20) absence of clever approach, [16.02] ||

Eternal values set 3 > Eternal Rule of leadership 275 || 21) Boldness in behavior and action, 22) have an attitude to forgiveness on requisite occasions, 23) Fortitude of high order, 24) Purity & freshness at level of body, 25) absence of revolt from ethical responsibility of work & profession and 26) Operating free from ego and arrogance. These 26 values of leadership is described as eternal values of leadership. [16.03] ||

12 Five Fold Ethical Values Binding Human Life All Across

Eternal Rule of leadership 285 || One must know the fivefold ethical values that binds human life all across. 1) Ethics toward life of self, 2) ethics toward family, 3) ethics toward organisation & profession we work for, 4) ethics toward society & state we are living in and 5) ethics toward nature & environment are five folds. ||

13 Karma-Ygya, Gyan-Yagya and Vichar-Yagya – 3 Fold Yagya of Leadership

Eternal Rule of leadership 317 || When the action is performed with mind under belief that 1] it is responsibility to be done, it is duty to be done, 2] being away from selfish motive, and 3] ensuring that the action is performed in line with law of nature, state and organization, such action should be known as high order [sattvika] action. [17.11]. This is state of Karma-yagya which the leader must undertake in course of action.
