    A mouse in the house,

    A mouse in the house,

    What shall we do about

    A mouse in the house?

    No poison 'cause when

    He dies, he'll stink.

    So what do you think?

    A trap! A trap! But wait.

    What shall we use for bait?

    Cheese? He won't like it.

    Maybe peanut butter.

    That should set his little heart a-flutter.

    Chocolate works best

    But you might have guessed

    We don't have any.

    Bread just a bit.

    With a drop of licorice

    Flavoring on it.

    But it's so late at night,

    I'll wait for morning light,
