About this ebook

The Warrens claim to have exorcised a "werewolf demon" on June 17, 1983. The subject of the case, Bill Ramsey, had bitten several people, believing himself to be a wolf. The events surrounding this case were later described in a 1991 book written by the Warrens, Werewolf: A True Story of Demonic Possession. No photos or video evidence were available to confirm the possibility and reasoning that Bill Ramsey was, indeed, possessed by a werewolf-type demon or evil spirit.

Welcome to BBC 1. I am wearing a British police helmet because we’re going to be speaking about a very intriguing case that happened in London. It began in London, a little suburb called Southend-on-Sea, where a werewolf of London was found. Ed and Lorraine Warren will investigate this and will talk to you about it. We have an actual interview with a werewolf from Ed and Lorraine Warren’s house. Maybe I should take this hat off, even though I like it. I think I’ll maybe keep it. We’ll talk to Ed and Lorraine Warren about this intriguing case. I’d like to start out with Ed, if I could, first. Ed, can you tell us about this actual case of lycanthropy?

    Ed

This is the first case of a werewolf or lycanthropy, which is the scientific name for it, which we ever came across in forty-five years of investigations. Lorraine and I were in a friend’s home and we were speaking, talking and fooling around. All of a sudden my attention was drawn to the fact that there was another Werewolf in London picture on. I thought, My God, they made another one?
