Its past cannot be comprehended, its future contemplated. It is what it is: what it has always been; what we hold to hold us as a chattel or a part of a dreamers fantasy. 

    As for the young American he knows not. His vessel is empty. The Canadian has the burden … in his mind ... in the Cambodian mindfield. This I can tell you and no more.
