About this ebook

The One Word a Day Devotional is a daily study of one word each day taken from key verses in the Christian Bible. The topics in this study deal with fundamental elements of our character, of human nature, and of things that bind us together as family, friends, neighbors and fellow citizens.
The Fruit of the Spirit is nine virtues every person should master; not just Christians, but every person. These should be the virtues we instill in our children, the virtues of our politicians, the virtues of sports figures and celebrities. If every man and woman was to master these characteristics, regardless of religious, political or cultural differences, it would be a wonderful and prosperous world we live in.
This book is designed to help you reflect on who you are, how you relate to yourself and those around you. Engrave one word a day into your heart and set out on a path of greater peace, hope and spirituality.

    Conclusion

    Introduction

THE ONE WORD A DAY Devotional is a daily study of one word each day taken from key verses in the Christian Bible. You may or may not share the religious views. That truly is of no consequence. As humans, we share the same planet, the same humanity and ultimately the same destiny.

As a writer, it has been my habit to study one word every day and find a deeper meaning in it, what it implies and how it relates to my life. For you, I only hope that you too can connect with these words by taking your own journey; not necessarily through a religious perspective, but rather through a spiritual perspective.

Regardless of any religious consideration, the topics in this study deal with fundamental elements of our character, of human nature, and of things that bind us together as family, friends, neighbors and fellow citizens.

Grab a pen and paper, a notebook or journal would be better, where you can jot down the answers to questions posed at the end of each study. Don’t worry. It’s all very short, quick, easy and to the point. In fact the questions are not for anyone but yourself to use as a pivot for thought and reflection.
