I choose 5 star because the dragon wanted to go back to get is teddy bear then the girl said and the mom said do not go back into the house now the dragon knows not to go back into the house when there is fire.

I gave this book 5 stars because it is a really great teaching tool and this illustrations are bright and colorful. I can remember having a fire plan in elementary school. I think you could use this not old to teach fire safety, but to teach about diversity and being nice to "people" no matter what they look like.

A little girl is playing outside when she runs into a dragon. they become friends and play at the beach and eventually convince the girl's mother to let the dragon come over for tea. They sprinkle pepper and the dragon sneezes; fire catches on the curtains and they rush outside to a previously decided meeting spot. No Dragons For Tea is an educational book for teaching kids what to do in the event of a fire. The use of rhyming makes the book seem more flourished but not necessary and I found that Pendziwol had a great idea in writing this book. Kids will like the dragon and the fantasy aspect of inviting a dragon to play and grown-ups will love that their kids are learning while having fun. At the end of the book is a checklist of facts about fire and what to do in the event of one. In all, I vote this book a great learning tool but not the greatest literary experience.
