      Chapter One

      Joseph Danuley sat at the end of the pier with his fishing line cast into the lake. He wasn’t concentrating on the fish, however. He was entirely focused on his boyfriend, Tom, who chopped wood near the cabin. Although it was October, the man had taken off his tight t-shirt and every muscle glistened with sweat. He swung the axe over his head, and his six pack abs tightened then crunched as he brought the blade swiftly down onto the waiting log. It cleaved cleanly in two and Tom bent to set up the next one. Over and over, Tom flexed his mouthwatering wall of brawn and sinew, reducing Joseph’s brain to mush. Seriously, there should have been a law against someone looking so sexy.

      His fishing pole lurched, bringing his attention back to the lake and he waited for it to happen again. When the line bobbed the second time, he jerked it, hooking the fish. He stood to reel in the line, wrestling with the unfortunate catch until he won and pulled the largemouth bass from the murky lake.

      I see you’ve caught dinner, Tom said as he joined him on the pier. He still hadn’t put on his t-shirt, much to Joseph’s pleasure, and his cock twitched behind his fly.

      I catch, you cook, Joseph replied, grinning. He placed the bass in a cooler full of lake water before wiggling the hook out of the oversize mouth.

      It’s a deal. Tom hooked him around the waist and pulled him in to kiss him soundly on the mouth. Joseph sighed into the embrace as he opened his mouth to allow Tom’s tongue to slide in and caress his own. He and Tom might be getting ready to celebrate their second anniversary, but the magic hadn’t dimmed at all. In fact, every time their lips touched, it only cemented the knowledge that Thomas
