About this ebook

Maggie learns much more about all the strange things that have happened to her and has to face many new obstacles. She learns something about herself, that she is something that the clans have been waiting for. She rebels against it, but ultimately must face it for her new family's sake, and maybe even her life.

Bish went from being her biggest supporter to her biggest pain in the butt, and Kyle's intentions to attract her interest may not be so innocent. Caleb feels Maggie's heartbeat in his chest, feels her pain run through his veins, feels her joyfulness jump in her pulse. All he wants is to make her happy while all their enemies want is to destroy them both.

Caleb and Maggie fight to work through their obstacles together, but will some things be too much for Maggie to handle? Will she become who she has to be to save the ones she loves or will she crumble under the pressure as this epic love story continues.

Love this second installment of the Significance series. Maggie is now a really bad Ace. She continues to learn more about herself and Aces. This book is just as mushy, and cheesy as the first but I still enjoyed it. I love Maggie and Caleb's story and can't wait to see what's in store for them throughout the series.

I'm weird about this book/series. It was good. I stayed up entirely too late reading it. It moved kind of slow but I was really excited about it while I was reading... I just don't know. Maybe it's only a 2 or 3 star book for me. I keep waffling on that so I gave it 4 because I like to give the benefit of the doubt and I DO feel like the series has some merit.

I think part of the reason I am a little conflicted about it is that it seemed a little oppressive towards women, bordering on misogynistic at times. Actually, it seemed a lot oppressive towards women at times. But then, I could see how in the plot that was one of the "changes" that might occur. But I still highly doubt it's ever going to make my feminist side feel all warm and fuzzy.

It also had a highly annoying amount of typographical errors. Very highly annoying. Like, at times, I couldn't exactly make out that the character was supposed to have said. It was also extremely overboard with the "I Love You's" and reassurances. Both characters are totally insecure, but I guess that's better than the female being a total insecure mess all by her poor little ole' self. That gets annoying.

The author's agenda comes through in parts of the book at times too. I understand that nearly every author has "something to say" in their work, but it was a little too soap-boxy... a little too put on... a little 'holier than thou'.

In spit of all of my criticism I am definitely going to read the next installment of this series and I really did like it. Crane has a great gift for story telling but the actual writing needs some serious attention. The plot doesn't flow smoothly, some of the events are awkwardly placed, but the characters are wonderful and the basic plot is very entertaining and original enough. I feel like the actual writing will only get better as Crane continues to write.

Significance and Accordance I read those two so far and they sooooooooo gooooood. Shelly Crane you’re my new favorite author.First touch and dang soul mate ahh this is so romantic. So significance is the first book where we learn about the basics of course the touch and its consequences, then the love that starts to get deep and deep for Maggie and Caleb, they are so cute together and of course all the events that follow through the book. I really enjoyed reading it, I didn’t get bored at all, I was practically eating the pages. I was really sad for Kyle though in the first book he was so sure of himself and his feelings for Maggie, he just seemed to accept his faith and try to be accepted by her even if she was meant to be with Caleb but to see him in the second book find the feeling, eventually with Lynn, that Caleb and Maggie shared I was really happy for him. I also have to say something about Bish and Jen I hope that they will be together they were so hurt in the past after all and they really deserve a happy endings, I hope I will read about them in the next chapters. And of course Maggie’s dad I wich also that he can find someone in the next chapters because he also was disappointed in his life and deserve a new one.And of course the threats that have to pope up every one in a while make those books really amazing. The danger and the willing to sacrifice for the love of your life is just priceless and make my heart beat with the characters.Epical love story, epical adventure because I have to say it is an adventure, epical drama. Shelly Crane you are my new hero.

Did what Maggie learned in Significance help her in Accordance? In this second book in the series, Maggie and Caleb are sent to Caleb’s aunt’s house in California to protect them. They think that this is going to be a good time and they are going to finally have time alone. Their parents have other thoughts. Caleb’s cousin, Kyle, and Maggie’s brother, Bish is sent out to chaperone them. Even though Maggie’s father knows about her new life, Bish does not. This will make things difficult for them when he comes out to watch them.Watching Maggie is something that Bish takes seriously. He doesn’t want anyone to hurt his little sister. He doesn’t like Caleb and thinks that he is “some kind of swindler to have convinced everyone to like him and let him take [Maggie] away to the beach alone.” Will Bish interfere with Maggie’s and Caleb’s relationship? What role does Kyle play in all of this? When I first started reading this sequel, I was afraid that it would be repetitious and not have new content. I was proved wrong. I liked Accordance just as much as I liked Significance. Crane has a way of writing that envelops you in the stories. Even though there are some evidence of “normalcy” in this book (i.e.: love triangle), this book is one that I would recommend.

Accordance is the second installment to the Significance series. This series offers a unique twist of a fated lovers and superheroes powers. Maggie and Caleb take center stage, but it appears the family is beginning to grow. For generations it had appeared that a terrible tragedy was occurring, and the families were no longer imprinting. With such complications the families discourages dating and romance with anyone else other than ones imprinted, because if they were to one day find their significant things will instantly become messy. So, at the time it appeared with the lack of imprinting generations we destined to be along. That was until Maggie saved Caleb from an unfortunate accident. Now, they are not only imprinted; but Maggie is also a human and this has never been heard of before. At the end of the Significance we followed Maggie and Caleb to California. In attempts to hide from those determined to harm Maggie; they flee only to find they are under the supervision of one overbearing brother and one meddlesome cousin. This allowed a moment for some major character and romance depth to be adding into the story. This was a much need transition to go from the unknown fresh romance to a deep and a devoted partnership between Caleb and Maggie. Unfortunately, with a novel such as this the abruptness of the imprinting between characters can leave readers feel pressured romance, and a constant feeling of catching up as the author builds relationships after the fact. I thoroughly enjoy this series, and love the unique and imaginative journey within each book. I have noticed a few disruptions in the flow, but I think this is primarily the learning curve for this author. It appears that she is still having a few moments of romance that will sound entirely to cliché. With a novel surrounding romance this will give readers moments of pause within the story, but is easily overlooked. Overall, with two books of the Significance series under her belt I see improvement, and I am anxious to see where the future will take us.

Accordance picks up exactly where Significant leaves off, and embellishes this tale of Maggie and Caleb's journey. It's a literary and emotional roller coaster ride. Maggie and Caleb are still learning the nuances of their relationship, while Sikes and the rest of the Watson clan threaten the couple. There is a cliff hanger that will make you scowl at Crane, until the third part of the series is released next year.My only issue is the grammatical errors that sprinkle throughout the novel. I had to keep fighting the urge to edit it myself, however it only distracts a little, and can be easily overlooked by those who are eager to continue the tale of Maggie and Caleb.
