The Conspiracy of American Democracy: The Battle in New York is a thrilling, compelling, and suspenseful political novel that is set in the year 2028 when the United States of America as we know it has disappeared. Paul, separated from Hannah early in the story, embarks on a courageous journey to find her. Throughout his struggles he finds himself engaged in epic battles with Russian and socialist soldiers, while learning once again to rely on the help of others in his efforts. Throughout the story Paul is faced with confronting past demons, finding his true patriotic self, and discovering that the only thing that really matters in his new world--finding Hannah. The story builds in intensity leading to an enduring and climactic battle in the end, filled with personal loss and glorious redemption.
Factual political details, dating back to the 1930's, are woven into the fabric of the novel in an effort to lead the reader to the conclusion that the destruction of the constitutional foundation of the United States started long ago. Many laws, Acts, Judgments and Amendments are discussed in detail demonstrating to the reader that the ultimate and complete erosion of the core of our democratic society has been occurring in front of our very eyes.

Robert G. Strickland
Mr. Robert G. Strickland currently employed in the public safety profession in the Southeastern United States where he makes his home with his wife. He attended Campbell University where he pursued and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in religion and at that time began his writing career. Having a poem published in "The Lyricist", an annual literary competitive publication at the University would be his door to future writing endeavors. His first novel now published "Conspiracy of the American Democracy"; a well-thought literary work of art is the first in a series of future publications.Mr. Strickland has been a life-long gun collector and currently serves as a "State Certified" concealed-carry Handgun Instructor in his home state of North Carolina.Mr. Strickland enjoys spending time with his two grown children and enjoys hunting, woodworking and is an avid motorcycle rider.
