Nice Ned eats his dinner, takes his bath, and helps his mom around the house. Naughty Ned doesn't want to go to bed and puts up a fight. He has tons of energy and feels like a superhero- wired and awake late into the night. He'd rather stay up for midnight adventures than get some rest! Each night, Ned watches the clock hoping for some time-stopping magic to prevent his bedtime blues. Ned eventually uses his boundless energy to fight his parents' rules and stay up through the night. He doesn't sleep a wink- and neither do his parents. Ned finally got his wish, but was it everything he dreamed of? Unexpected things happen the next day which cause Ned to rethink his desire to skip out on his sleep.
