About this ebook
Zack Patterson couldn’t be more annoyed when his boss informs him he’s going to make house calls for a wealthy patient. Becoming the personal physical therapist for Landon Price isn’t on his ‘to-do’ list.
Despite his initial irritation, Zack finds himself undeniably attracted to Landon. The two of them have much in common and quickly become pals. Each therapy session makes it harder and harder for Zack to keep things professional, but does Landon reciprocate his attraction?
Is Zack willing to take a chance on his possibly straight patient, and will doing so be career suicide?

Chapter One
Zack! Wait up! Stop! Zack!
With a little groan, Zack Patterson stopped dead in his tracks. He envisioned the lunch he’d heated up cooling with every passing second. Seven hours into his shift, he’d thought he might finally get a chance to eat. He’d made the blunder of warming up his food, a rookie mistake. He knew better than that.
He took a deep breath before slowly turning, his new sneakers squeaking on the linoleum floor, to face Holly, the bouncy, perky secretary for his unit. Yes, Holly?
Dr. Florence said to tell you to report to room fourteen. There’s a new patient in there in need of assessment.
Seeing his lunch, she cringed. Sorry. Doctor’s orders.
Zack sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. Florence was the senior doctor. Most weeks he made out the schedule, and it gave him a sense of entitlement where the rest of them were concerned. Holly sent him an apologetic look. He knows.
Does he also realize we don’t normally see patients during this hour?
We do when they are wealthy individuals who might make a donation to the hospital,
Holly said in explanation.
So now we’re catering to pompous assholes with too much money on their hands?
She shrugged. Sorry.
She handed over the patient’s file and turned to walk away. At the last second, she spun back. A bunch of us are going out for drinks after work. Would you like to come?
He heard the interest in her voice, even though she attempted to hide it,
