This first set of novellas is about Cora Shaw, a college student dying of cancer, and Dorian Thorne, an ageless vampire who saves her with his blood kiss. The story is told from Cora's POV and there is so much tension in the story it was mind numbing. I loved the plot of this book. I have always been a fan of vampire tales from Dracula to Twilight, but this one is special. The author really gets in to Cora's head as she struggles with her terminal diagnosis then takes a leap of faith to be cured. But is the cure worse then the disease?
