    Lessons - LaDonna Marie

    In this book, I want to explore experiences of heartaches, pain, fear, hurt, and shame in order to provide tools that empower girls and young women to make better life decisions. Because of my own experiences, I have vowed to help young women with identifying feelings of bondage and begin to release those feelings.

    Positive Inspirations

    Sometimes in life, we have to expose negative behaviors in order to shed light on the darkness that comes along with them. In my teen years, God spoke to me and He had heard my cries. Later, I learned the true meaning of his words, when he said, He will never leave us or forsake us. He told me that as I healed, He would use me to help to heal others. In Lessons: Shattered Pieces Being Restored; I transformed what is holding a lot of women hostage. To teach lessons about moving forward and letting our painful past die, the bible states, "We have to kill our flesh daily, and surrender to the will of God." In this book, I hope to continue to spark awareness and G.R.O.W.T.H (Giving Real Occurrences While Transforming Holistically).

    My Prayer:

    Father, right now bless all of the individuals that receive this book, I pray that they be strengthened in their own life situations and paths. Father, I ask for protection over their journey into all truth. Father, I ask that you cover them right now in the Blood of Jesus because holy is the Lamb of God. Father, I ask that you release a spirit of deliverance, healing, awakening, and releasing strongholds and insert joy and peace into their spirits. May they be blessed and favored in their daily walks. These and all blessing we ask in Jesus name, Amen.

    Poem: I See You

    As I release my poetic scribes,

    I recognize it is the flowing in my mind;

    For a minuet moment in time

    My thoughts are his thoughts.

    God put them there and helps me

    Decoding a messages that maybe

    Broad but touches the mind and hearts

    of many men and women of God;

    His wondrous work, we speak of

    Live by, and learn from.

    It is him that

    We should pattern our lives,

    Imitate his walk, and keep our minds set on things above.

    I see you.

    I haven’t been where you been, but I see you.

    God allows me to see the hurts and pains you’ve been through;

    I feel your pain; I cry and weep for you.

    Your heart needs to be healed

    From the wounds you been through-

    Abandoned kids, molested and used and misused

    Generational family ties that leave cues

    Of brokenness, neglect, withdrawal.

    All children of God who just need a break through

    Seek a relationship with Him because He loves you

    He will cleanse your path and change your future and free you.

    Poem: I Speak to the Ones

    I speak to the ones to give hope to the listening ears

    The ones who are not yet

    Comfortable speaking their truths

    But their stories replay daily in their heads;

    I speak for the ones who hide behind their depression

    Because they don’t want anyone to see,

    And it is unbearable to imagine they would admit their pain out loud;

    I speak to the ones on the verge on suicide

    Feeling like giving in or checking out of the world;

    I speak to the ones who thought they had life and love

    All figured out;

    I
