In writing this book, my goal is to provide a concise business resource for my reader as well as correct and pertinent information regarding celebrity endorsements.
There is a good deal of false
information out there and information that is downright misleading. Using celebrities for endorsements, interviews, etc. is something that needs to be well thought out including putting together a business plan-type document that outlines everything you need in order to succeed.
I am the Editor-in-Chief of an international publishing house called ePubWealrh.com and although I know a good many celebrities by their first names, I very rarely engage them for my contract author’s books. The reason being is that I look to see if the Star Power
matches the cost. In other words, am I going to sell enough books to pay for the celebrity endorsement and will this endorsement make a difference in my book sales.
Every product is different because every product has a different price point and gross profit. Books do not have high price points or gross profits so care is needed in evaluating a celebrity endorsement.
I know it looks cool
having a celebrity endorse your "stuff’ but looking at it purely from a business standpoint is necessary for profitability.
