The Old Traditions are the New Legends
Theiv’yah …
The era is changing …
The world of Theiv’yah,-
Changing …
This world overseen by a glorious, and powerful, king. King Gregory the Generous some called him. Others see him only as a tyrant. And the crown--seized only by violent uprising. King Gregory the Generous some shouted through the streets. He won the war! And country--saved from the Tainted!
King Gregory the Generous some yelled late in the pub. Others weep because of his deeds. And their lives--in darkness.
King Gregory won his crown, in The Darkest War, after the king was slain. And with no heir, It was in the hands of the people--to find their new king. In this place, the people elect not only the king; they elect a bloodline--a family.
So with this new king came his twin boys, daughter, and youngest son,- but their mother--his wife had left this world a long time ago.
Harin, the first of the twins, was charismatic, compassionate and charming. Polite as any four boys.
Teachers and parents loved him--adored him. He was bright as the sun. The smartest in the class, yet struggled with certain things (often lost himself to his anger,- lied to his brothers and sister). But never doubt,- he had the best of intentions.
Then there was the second of the twins, Darin. Unlike his brother, he is joyous, genuine and gentle. He was born with a true gift. A natural understanding for diplomacy and war alike. ‘Though gentle he is, war can sometimes cloud his mind. Seeing this trouble, the magnificent Forgers, came to aid young Darin. Always by his side, his faithful--fury--friend, Bailey.
A guardian dog, blessed with long life. Appointed to look after Prince Darin; Bailey was a smaller dog, only about fifty pounds,- a thick black coat with a white underbelly, and one eye blue--one eye
