Ilan Halfon
Ilan Halfon was born in Israel. At age 17 he had a life changing encounter that would forever transform him and his diet. He shed 60 pounds and by age 20 changed careers to become a spinning instructor and certified Gym and Wellness Coach. Ilan became one of the most in-demand spinning instructors in Israel, coaching about a thousand people a week. He went on to spend time in India, Thailand, Europe, the United States, before finally emigrated to Canada in 2005 where be certified as a yoga instructor. In 2009 Ilan moved to Toronto, where he founded FitMeEverywhere personal training, become certified as a Sports Nutritionist, switched to a vegan lifestyle and wrote the book, 'Dangerous Love,' to inspire and teach his clients and others how to let go of their love for junk food, eat right, get more energy and lose weight naturally. Ilan once ran 450 kms (280 miles) in 28 days to raise money for charity, dedicated a year to living off a pure raw vegan diet, and currently competes in male physique competitions based on plant based diets.

Preface
So, why am I writing this book?
When I initially started FitMe Training Professional Trainers, I was looking for a way to help people, aside from my clients. In trying to reach out to the wider community, I decided to write an article for a Toronto magazine.
When I gave the article to some of my clients and friends to review, many of them commented that I should take the concept and turn it into a book.
Writing a book was and still is a very big dream for me. I had tried many times before to write one, but was never sure where to begin and, after several false starts, I shelved the idea.
As I continued to work with my clients, I noticed that in my motivational talks I would often respond to what my client had said with, One of my other clients is facing the exact same challenge.
Most of us, if not all of us, face similar challenges in our lives. Some of us feel guilty about it and some of us don’t, but I think it is safe to say that all of us would like to change our lives for the better, wherever possible.
This inspired me to take some of my favourite life memories and lessons (most of which, to my surprise, involved my clients) and compile them into this book, which has been a privilege for me to write. This book is a little collection of advice I’ve given my clients (or learned from them), so if you are a reader who has the desire and strength of will to make a change in your life—to be better, healthier, and to achieve the body you’ve dreamt of—then all you need to do is follow and practice what you read here.
FitMe Training is not just about training for a healthier body. Anyone who knows me will agree that I believe in keeping things in the proper perspective. So what is FitMe all about? FitMe is about setting out on a life journey to a healthier lifestyle for yourself and for those close to you.
