      *spoiler warning*I'm not really sure why I reacted the way I did with this book. I usually love the older Nancy Drews, but for some reason this book annoyed me. I've read many more "recent" ND books then older ones, so maybe I'm just not used to the different style. Like the relatively stupid mistakes made in this book; George and Bess handing over a valuable clue to a complete stranger, Nancy completely ignoring several small clues, etc. And usually readers know exactly what Nancy knows, and nothing more, so it was kind of strange that this book gave information on what suspects were doing when Nancy wasn't around.However! I definitely liked the ending. I was so sure of the motive, the culprit, etc, and while I was partially right, there were enough surprises at the end to kind of make up for the other stuff.
