One rainy day Jess and Rosie are suck in the tack room with nothing to do. Jess happens to have grabbed an entry form to win a pony, the odds are a million to one, but nothing is impossible, so, with Rosie's help Jess fills out the form and sends it in. Soon after that the newspaper proclaims that a girl named Amanda won the pony. But one day Jess gets a phone call, saying that Amanda actually didn't get her parents permission and was disqualified!!! Jess won! The only downside is that the people who supplied the pony also own a stable, Sandy Lane's arch nemesis, stealing even their clients, meaning Jess must keep the pony there. Jess is stuck in a pinch... she now must take lessons at this place, not to mention be there at least three times a day. One day, Jess hears something disturbing and learns some nasty truths about the stable owner... will Jess get her pony taken away from her by the stable owner Jasper? When he claims that the pony is his own?!I totally love this book... probably mostly because this is like a dream of mine, but because it a great book as well. I hope this review is helpful!
