With a cast of fascinating characters, this is a Montreal that will cast its icy shadow over your shoulder for a long time to come. Step into the world of Inspector Luc Vanier – it is a world you will want to come back to more than once.

Someone dressed in a Santa suit has murdered 5 homeless people on Christmas Eve in Montreal. They are all found peacefully dead in their safe hidey-holes in various parts of the city. Detective Luc Vanier teases out the connections in the sad lives of the homeless. This was an excellent novel that grabbed me from the start and kept my interest all the way through. Highly recommended.
