About this ebook

Behind all myths there is one message, a timeless truth that mystic traditions point to: our Earthly lives are a preparation for life as Starwalkers, advanced, interdimensional beings, who travel the Dimension of the Blessed. In this comprehensive study, the first-ever of its kind, William Henry reconstructs the ancient beliefs in this Dimension from clues from Egypt to Sumeria to Greece to America. When pieced together, these myths create an adventure to a realm of incredible possibility. A few of the enigmas this book explores are: The Egyptian belief that interdimensional beings of light created humanity; The meaning behind the 'reed,’ the key term constantly repeated over thousands of years in these global myths; How Moses’ parting of the Sea of Reeds while leading the Israelites to Canaan, the Place of Reeds, is an allegory for the opening of a gate to another realm; The secret meaning behind Jesus performing his first miracle at Cana, which means reed, and the tearing open of the heavens at his baptism and crucifixion; How the human body is capable of producing a spiritual substance that is made of space-time and through which one can see other times and places; How the study of other dimensions can affect our biology and will change our lives in the near future. Chapters include: A Cosmic Species; The Dimension of the Blessed; The Field; Up Out of Egypt; The Blessed Falcons; The Divine Spark of the Blessed; Atlantis: The Blessed Land; The Sea at the End of the World; Manna and the Blessed Realm; Blessed Sirius; Gilgamesh & Sirius; Tearing Open the Dimension of the Blessed; Judas and the Dimension of the Blessed; more.

    INTRODUCTION

    A COSMIC SPECIES

It is not impossible that to some

Infinitely superior being the whole universe

May be as one plain, the distance

Between planet and planet being only as

The pore in a grain of sand, and the

    Spaces between system and system

No greater than the intervals between the

    Grain and the grain adjacent.

    SAMUEL TAYLOR COLERIDGE

    Omniania

Welcome. You have arrived at the edge of the known world, the border between the human and the divine realms. Though its invisible to our five senses, and all but incomprehensible to our minds, this supernatural, spiritually infinite realm of the immortals is waiting to show us its face. This is the nearby Dimension of the Blessed. This is the moment of the lifting of the veil separating us from this dimension.

Previously, this promised realm was off limits to all but a few. But soon, all will come face to face with it. In fact, properly understood, our precious human body is the point of connection between the physical world and the Dimension of the Blessed. As we’ll explore, our body was created as an interface or bridge to this Dimension. Connection with it transforms us and links us with teachers of stunning wisdom.

Our position between two states of being is the main theme and calling of our times. Not fighting terrorists. Not nuclear (or ‘nuculer’ for idiots) proliferation, nor even the rise of insane religion-drunk dictators with a belief that their life mission is to hasten the destruction of the human race so that their brand of messiah can return. Perhaps even more than averting cataclysmic earth changes connection to the consciousness of the Dimension of the Blessed is our call. Embracing it resolves all of our lower dimensional problems.

With one foot in the Promised Land our challenge is to bring the higher consciousness of the Dimension of the Blessed into this realm and to raise our selves, and our enemies, to this ethereal and enlightened realm. Then, we will be as gods (but not God), freed from primitive human suffering and misery.

To use Whitley Strieber’s term, we are on the verge of, at last, becoming a ‘cosmic species’ and asserting (or inserting) ourselves into the galaxy. This sudden transformation of Homo sapiens into dimension-roving bodhisattvas marks the return of the divine in us. Like the deities of ancient myth, we are on the verge of becoming Starwalkers: eternal, hyperdimensional beings.

This sounds like hyperbole. I assure you it’s not.

The particle physics community, not visionary New Age mystics, is leading the unbelievable ascent to the mountain peak that will unveil previously unimaginable proof of the existence of the other dimensions. These children of Einstein are grasping a ring of truth that, combined with universal spiritual truths, will transform us into Starwalkers.

In the ancient world Ahura Mazda, the god of Light, flew on a winged disk and held a ring of Cosmic Sovereignty in his hand. In the 4th century the Egyptian Christians portrayed Jesus with this ring in one hand and a rod of power in the other riding upon his magic white horse.

I use the term ‘ring of truth’ reverentially. In the ancient world a ring symbolized knowledge of the higher realms. This ring became the crown, symbol of sovereignty. Today, the gate to the other realm is literally a harmonic of this ring, the Large Hadron Collider, a 17-mile long underground circular tunnel or ring that is the largest machine in the world.

This 10,000 ton, multi-billion-dollar particle accelerator and collider located deep beneath the ground at CERN (The European Organization for Nuclear Research), near Geneva, Switzerland will begin operations in Europe in late 2007. Over 7,000 particle physicists from 80 countries have gathered at CERN – where the World Wide Web was invented in the early 1990’s for research purposes – to create this marvel to study the ultimate secrets of the universe that will take us into new realms of energy, space and time. The LHC has four large experiments designed to pinpoint the smallest fragments of the universe and to recreate the conditions present the first millionths of a second of creation after the Big Bang.

The LHC ring will produce beams of subatomic particles (called hadrons) and shoot them along its pathways at near-light speed, guided on their journey by some 9,300 mammoth superconducting magnets, each weighing several tons and chilled to temperatures colder than deep space. At four points in the tunnels, the counter-revolving protons are to smash into one another at a rate of nearly one billion per second. At the crossing points, enormous detectors are stationed to register the ephemeral wisps of debris from the collisions. Physicists huddled in front of computers networked all over the planet will analyze the data from the LHC.

Some call the LHC a world laboratory. CERN calls it a discovery machine to answer a cosmic challenge. Others think of the LHC as a time machine or a gate. I call it a modern ‘Ring of Cosmic Sovereignty’.

The LHC is considered the next step in a voyage of discovery, which began a century ago. Back then scientists were raving about all kinds of newly discovered mysterious rays, such as X-rays, cathode rays, alpha and beta rays, etc. Approximately a century ago, it was also experimentally demonstrated that the naturally occurring chemical elements, whose harmonic ordering Dmitri Mendeleyev embodied in his periodic system, were not homogenous bodies, but rather mixtures of distinct species of atoms – isotopes – having nearly identical chemical behavior, but profoundly different physical properties.1 The investigation of this new dimensionality of the periodic system, and of the processes of transformation of atoms, underlying it, led eventually to the discovery of fusion, fission, and other nuclear reactions, the realization of the first nuclear fission chain reaction, and the first atomic weapons, during World War II. Suddenly, we possessed the power to manufacture isotopes that did not exist on Earth and to recreate the conditions that exist in stars and in the center of galaxies.

These profound discoveries changed and united our world forever, and changed en route our daily lives, giving us televisions, transistors, medical imaging devices, computers and the Internet. Elvis. The Beatles. Star Wars. This is only the beginning.

    FIRST LIGHT: PROOF OF PARALLEL

    DIMENSIONS

We don’t know exactly what we’ll find when the LHC begins ‘ringing’, but it is certain to yield new insights into the structure of matter that will raise the universal curtain. Every breath. Every footstep counts now. Every thought. For the first time, experiments at the LHC will explore physics at the TeV—or tera-electronvolt—energy scale. A TeV is a unit of energy used in particle physics. 1 TeV is about the energy of motion of a flying mosquito. What makes the LHC so extraordinary, say the ring lords at CERN, is that it squeezes energy into a space about a million million times smaller than a mosquito. The machine will have the capacity to create (‘grow’?) new forms of matter never before seen on Earth, producing particles weighing thousands of times more than the protons that it smashes into each other.

The LHC will produce up to 1.5 GB of data per second, or an estimated 10 petabytes of data annually, a quantity of data hundreds of times larger than the Library of Congress’s print collection (estimated at 20 terabytes) and about twice as large as Google’s whole data storage, reported to be approximately 5 petabytes, equivalent to a stack of CDs twice the height of Mount Everest. More than 100,000 PCs, spread at one hundred institutions across the world, will allow scientists from different countries to access the data, analyze it and work together in international collaborations.

As well as giving us a more profound understanding of creation and the nature of reality, the discovery of unexpected phenomena is expected to open the door to technologies as yet undreamt of - perhaps cheap and clean forms of energy, new methods of communication or even novel space propulsion. This is why the U.S. Congress’s cancellation of the Superconducting Supercollider in 1993 after its projected costs ballooned to more than $10-billion is deemed one of the most important scientific events of the past 25 years.

It is widely anticipated that this ring will uncover the building blocks of the Universe and lead to a new physics. The most ambitious of theoretical physicists view the LHC as a time machine and expect it to connect our three-dimensional world with extra dimensions. Just as Einstein showed us that the three dimensions of space are related to time via a hidden symmetry, new theories propose that there may exist extra, hidden dimensions of space that become visible only at high energies. These overtones lead me to suggest that CERN is actually an embassy of the fourth dimension, a new port on the cosmic ocean.

As we will see, this is truly the science of the third millennium meets the mythic powers of the ancient blessed ones.

Some question if we are human enough to utilize these powers.

The ring lords of CERN hope to use the particle collider to answer some astonishing questions, including:

What gives matter its mass? Its target of choice is the Higgs scalar boson, a hypothetical subatomic entity theoretically responsible for the fact that the other elementary particles have mass.

What is the nature of the 96% of the universe’s mass which is unaccounted for by current astronomical observations? What are the secrets of dark matter?

Are there extra dimensions, as predicted by various models inspired by string theory, and can we see them? Touted as a theory of everything, string theory holds that reality is woven out of infinitesimal strings, or, in newer versions, membranes, vibrating in a hyperspace of 10 or more dimensions. In his recent book The Cosmic Landscape Leonard Susskind of Stanford University – the father of string theory – conjectures that all of the universes allowed by string theory actually exist, forming an infinite Landscape of universes with different forces, particles and even dimensions.2

Most traditional believers, including Jews, Christians and Muslims, assume that this is the only possible universe, created by God. What if there are others?

What if there are a lot of others?

By one reckoning, the number of conceivable universes, each with a different dose of dark energy, is so vast that it is measured not in the millions or billions but in googols or googolplexes. (Before it was retooled into the name of a search engine, a googol was defined as 10 to the power of 100 and a googolplex as 10 to the power of googol.)

Third millennium science - which physicists fully admit is incomplete, not whole, and therefore not yet holy either - shows that our particular universe has a number of constants, a change of which would likely make life as we know it impossible. Still, Susskind deems unscientific the notion that there is a supernatural entity behind this landscape.

    THE END OF THE WORLD

While these discoveries and the sudden revelation of previously incomprehensible knowledge sounds divinely guided, or in the least will answer as many questions as it raises about the Divine Realm, the LHC and the dream of discovering another dimension has its detractors. Some focus on the LHC’s lack of power. Even though it will be the most powerful accelerator in the world, dissenters chide it will still fall far short of the energies needed to probe directly the micro realm where superstrings supposedly dwell. All LHC will do is keep us going in circles around present knowledge.

Others warn the LHC is a catastrophe in waiting. As even Dan Brown opined in his global bestseller Angels & Demons,3 which is set partly at CERN, people both inside and outside of the theoretical physics community (the fellowship of the ring) have voiced concern that the LHC might trigger one of several theoretical disasters capable of destroying the Earth or even the entire universe!

Years ago, that’s what they said about the Manhattan Project and, later, the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider, the accelerator dubbed the Big Bang Machine in New York. Some had feared that the RHIC machine could create a weird breed of subatomic particle known as a negative strangelet -and that such strangelets could set off a globe-gobbling chain reaction. Think PacMan. Doomsdayers disagree with a philosophy, bordering on a religion, that places the entire human family at risk for the benefit of a few scientists-priests-magicians-shamans. Since the RHIC machine began operation in 2000 only spectacular images of atoms colliding at 99.5 percent light-speed have been detected.

Still, physics forums crackle with talk about possible doomsday scenarios involving the LHC. These include:

Creation of a stable black hole.

Creation of strange matter that is more stable than ordinary matter.

Triggering a transition into a different quantum mechanical vacuum (which would cause us to tunnel into a lower energy state).

    Anything can happen.

One looming question is: will anyone be able to understand the results beaming from this ring of truth? It’s possible they will be so subtle or so complex that we will not be able to comprehend these results. Another question concerns the possibility that the results will be kept secret. Couple this with what some perceive as the dumbing down, locking down and terrorizing (politically and militarily) of the citizens of Earth by the global elite and we have a situation where our sovereignty itself is in jeopardy. If only some of us are about to evolve what will happen to the rest of us?

    THE NEW MYTHOLOGY

There is hardly a topic that needs to have much more work performed or public discussion than this subject. To make the results comprehensible this work needs to be performed by both spiritual theorists and physicists. Mythologists too. Some scientists already say that most of what passes for the most advanced theory in particle physics is not really science. It’s theological speculation. It’s metaphysics. They’re correct. Their effort is spiritual to its core. It is really about connecting human kind with the Higher Reality and healing our world. We are the gods and heroes of the new mythology.

The astounding potentials of the LHC reveal we live during a mystical ‘opening moment’ the alchemists called aurora consurgens (new dawn). This is a new beginning. A passage from the Zohar says that when a man has been shut up in darkness for a long time, one has to make a tiny opening for him at first, and then another a little larger, and another, until he can bear the full radiance of the Light. The LHC will make that opening a lot larger. Over the next decade new non-accelerator facilities will come online on the surface of our planet, beneath the surface and in space. These particle tracks will be as busy as NASCAR tracks… only meaningful. They will be opening doors we hardly knew existed.

As this new Sun appears beyond the horizon, it will also bring forth a secret, sacred aspect of humanity. We are, in our essence, even in the composition of our physical bodies, starry matter - stardust. The LHC will provide astounding revelations about us. It may even prove we come from another dimension.

All who have been hungering for the morning can rejoice. There are essentially three approaches we will take as individuals during this moment. The first is to ignore the information or leave it to ‘experts’ (scientist-priest-politicians) to tell us what it means. The second is to recognize that these discoveries are the same as the ancient ‘hidden mysteries’ talked about by sages and shamans since the beginning of time. The third approach is to become involved. Our choice in approach determines whether we will we will rise, Phoenixlike, Christ-like, as beings of light or herons, or we will smolder in the ashes.

At all times and in every age, there have been souls whose inner light, having been fanned by the flames of the otherworld, awaken and begin the journey home. In this age there are many of us. So, welcome to the end of the world. It’s a beautiful day. Are you ready to be blessed?

The premise of this book is that ancient and secret spiritual traditions left us astounding and persistent descriptions of the ‘other side’ or twin peak of the mountain we are climbing and the new dawn we are experiencing. In many cases, they tell us this ‘other side’ is where we came
