      Foreword

      Not all Dachshund rescues are the result of abuse, neglect or abandonment. Sometimes there is a forced owner-surrender due to a violation of zoning laws or animal ordinances that limit the number of dogs you can have. Often times Dachshunds are owner-surrendered due to circumstances beyond their control. The decisions the owners need to make in those instances are heartbreaking, as we see in this much-anticipated sequel to Gold Rush.

      Foster homes and adopters are needed for the rescued Dachshunds regardless of the reason for their rescue. Each Dachshund deserves to be in a home where they will be loved and nurtured for life. This story drives that home.
