    The ship arrived at the docks right on time. It’s huge size being almost completely concealed by the fog. I stood there watching as the passengers slowly disembarked, chilled by the cool morning air. I was very pleased to finally be reunited with my lovely Perdicia. It had been too long since last I had gazed upon her. Her radiant beauty still shone brightly as she walked down the gangplank of the old Galleon and towards me.

    She noticed me almost immediately, standing beside the family carriage. It’s black box-like shape standing out in the haze of the morning.

    It has been too long, Perdicia. I said as I helped her up the steps and into the carriage. The thick fog that hung around the docks this time of year receding just a bit to allow her to pass.

    That it has, my dear Wendel. she replied with a smile. I am glad to be home.

    She placed a small kiss lightly upon my cheek and took her place in the carriage.

    I vaulted the three feet up the steps and took my place opposite her in the opulent carriage, while we waited for her bags to be loaded. I noticed that she was still a bit frail, but not nearly as sickly as the last time I had seen her. Had it really been two years? Time really seems to fly. I leaned over and placed her hand in mine.

    You look to be well. I reassured her.

    Of course I’m well. she responded while withdrawing her hand. I am here with you now.

    I looked into her eyes and saw a glimpse of the woman I once knew - the proud Sanzaran, unafraid to brave the dangers of this dreary isle.
