      Everything that glitters is not gold, and the same principle holds true in many different ways.  Every coin has two sides, every story has two versions, everything that looks real is not real and every sign and Word is not from God.

      If we do not learn to discern between good & evil, right & wrong, truth & lies and God’s ways from our ways, we will be in trouble.

      We are living in a fallen world with a lot of deception around us and this is no time to be gullible.  The Bible teaches us to try every spirit and this is something that should be a part of our nature by default.  Every spirit is not of God and everyone who says God does not refer to the Creator of the heavens and earth.  So too the reality remains, every opportunity does not come from God and everything that seem right in our eyes, is not always right. 

      The Bible declares that there is a way which seems right to a man, but at the end is destruction.  The devil has the power to appear in any form he chooses, even as an ‘angel of light’ so I can’t stress this enough – discern, discern, discern and discern; beware of deception.   The devil’s ultimate goal is to deceive, distract, detour, kill, steal and destroy. 

      My encouragement to you is, in all your ways acknowledge God and allow Him to direct your path.  Do not judge things by the way it appears to be in the natural, pray for the spirit of discernment and learn to see things through the eyes of the spirit.  Do not judge a book by its cover, but rather by the contents written within.  Sensual wisdom and spiritual wisdom has its place, but seek the latter.  Forget about what you think and embrace God’s standards.   

      Hidden Truths is a Daily Devotional that seeks to reveal truths that are hidden in efforts to empower and strength the body of Christ.  The views shared are thought provoking, controversial and within context.  Do read, reflect, meditate and pray after reading each devotional guide and ask the Lord for understanding and His guidance.
