About this ebook

It is hard work to develop in-depth characters that your readers can fall in love with or relate to, but that is the task of authors. If an author is to be successful, then they must find ways to create characters for people to latch on to, relate to, and love.
There are many different ways to come up with characters to use in writing, whether it’s novels, short stories, fan fictions, or anything else. However, the best characters are the ones that an author knows really well.
Over 400 Questions for Character Development by K. S. Everhart helps writers of all levels achieve in-depth, well-rounded characters and even helps evolve story lines and worlds that the characters live and play within.

INTRODUCTION Hello. I am Katharine Sylvia Everhart. I am a writer, blogger, and creative mind. I am currently wanting to break into the writing industry, so I am creating this blog to create a name for myself. This is my brand. This is who I am. SHORT BIOGRAPHY Katharine Everhart is the daughter of two retired marines and the sister of two brothers (one older and one younger). She grew up all over the continental U.S. because of her father's duty. Due to the constant changes in location during her school age years, she grew very accustomed to being alone and learned how to create her own worlds and friends. When she was in high school, she was introduced to the world of roleplaying and Dungeons & Dragons which opened her mind to a whole new world of possibilities. Now she is 29 years old, married, with 3 children of her own. She loves writing poetry, fan fictions, roleplays, and novels. Her favorite genres to write are fiction, fantasy, young-adult, drama, and science fiction.

To my loving husband, who supported my daily rantings and fell asleep to the light of my laptop,

And to my kids, who gave me inspiration, motivation, and love.

This book is for all the other aspiring writers out there with frazzled hair and chewed up pens.

    Preface

It is hard work to develop in-depth characters that your readers can fall in love with or relate to, but that is the task that we have as authors. If we are to be successful (which to me I define as published and with an impressive reader base), then we must find ways to create characters for people to latch on to, relate to, and love.

There are many different ways to come up with characters to use in writing, whether you write novels, short stories, fan fictions, or anything else your heart desires. However the best characters are the ones that you know really well.
