About this ebook

Manifesting Heaven will encourage you in a realm of faith to walk out the truth of scripture in your life. When Jesus was asked for the perfect prayer in Matthew 6:10, one aspect of His response was, "Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." Through prayer, kingdom principles and His heart of love; the Lord's heavenly realm is available to us here on earth. Pastor Nash places emphasis on removing every barrier in opposition to manifesting heaven in your life.

    Foreword

Pastor Peter’s revelation of the manifest presence of the Lord and His presence in our being gives us the victory He so richly purchased for us through the cross. Jesus walked in the supernatural, and every believer, every minister of the Gospel, and every church should expect this to be the normal Christian life.

Peter has revealed to us through this book that we have a real adversary and that we wrestle not against flesh and blood. The sooner we realize that our wrestling is not with humanity but is totally spiritual in nature, the easier our daily walk with Him will be. As spirit-led believers, we should always be proactive for the things of God and not reactionary to circumstances or situations. John 10:10 tells us that the enemy’s mandate is to kill, rob, and destroy, but Christ has come to give us life more abundantly.

Peter writes from the Spirit of God’s perspective and out of that he has gained a revelation. This revelation will be revolutionary for some and their established mindsets. A line has been drawn in the sand, and if you are not totally filled with the Holy Spirit you will not be able to cross over the line into the realms that the Lord collectively has for us.

This book gives people hope and an opportunity to live daily in His presence, in the supernatural, with signs, wonders, and miracles following their lives.

    Chapter One

Why the Presence of the Lord Is So Important

How does one go about writing a book on manifesting heaven when so much of the Christian community is so far removed from the reality of heaven on earth? I believe that there is an untapped flow of the Holy Spirit becoming available to those who truly are after the Lord Jesus Christ. This flow will be unprecedented, something not seen since the early church age, and it is becoming available to us for the upcoming end time harvest. The end of the age is virtually upon us and there will be a bride produced without spot or wrinkle.

We live in such exciting times and the Holy Spirit is at work in the hearts and lives of believers. Get ready, as we are about to walk in the reality of the latter half of Galatians 5—totally empowered in the attributes of the Holy Spirit and the Lord Jesus. Our mandate will be to see the presence of the Lord operating in every single life.

I believe in the fullness of being a Christian. You might be asking, what does that mean? It means that more than just a few believers will be utilized to advance the kingdom of God. Rather, each and every one called by His name will have a strong part to play in manifesting a heavenly realm here on earth.

Christianity is about being a believer from the front of the church to the very back row of the church and out the door, pouring onto the streets of our cities. We are called to live out our Christian walk literally in every place our feet tread upon. Christianity is not about your problems or the issues of life; these will take care of themselves when your focus is directed upwards on your risen Saviour. Christianity is about the victory that comes through your problems. Being a Christian doesn’t mean you will not face interesting challenges and predicaments; these things will come, but isn’t it good to know that you have something greater than those people on the street today?

Christians have a hope within that defies all natural understanding. There is a realm we can draw upon that transcends all our natural senses. Jesus instructed His disciples in the perfect prayer with the words, Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10, KJV). This book is focused on the reality of heaven in our lives. I believe that because there have been forerunners in this earthly realm, the realities of the kingdom will be available to those of the end time generation. In other words, the kingdom will be available to you and every believer.

Some people will wake up hung-over today, and at one time you may have been like that. Isn’t God good? He didn’t leave you where you were at; He took you from where you were. Isn’t that an exciting thought? Why? Because there is a heavenly call upon your life. I understand that you may still struggle with issues of sin, but there is a heavenly reality that flows from the throne room of His grace which will become your perfect enabler. Christianity is a work in process, and the Lord is doing a good work! In order for this to happen, the presence of the Lord is so important. Believe me, it is available to you. It is quite literally already within you.

On February 7, 2010, an incredibly anointed young man named Brandt Trimble was preaching at the church where I was pastor. I was watching the service over live webstream outside the lounge of the hotel we were vacationing at in a Mexican resort. You may be asking, why the lounge? This happened to be the only place I was able to receive an internet connection at the hotel. We were in a warm, open environment looking out on the Sea of Cortez. As I was watching the service, people all around me were coming and going, drinking and partying.

Suddenly, two young ladies ran out of the lounge. They were giddy, talking back and forth to each other right in front of me. The sound on my laptop computer wasn’t coming through very well, so I had the computer up to my ear trying to hear the service. Then two men came out and it became clear to me why these girls were so giddy.

Right in front of me the foursome started the process of negotiation for that which would take place that evening. I was thinking to myself, Hello! I am right here. I am watching something spiritual! I was about to call down hellfire. Then I felt the Lord say to me, No. You need to see and know something. There is understanding that I need to bring to you. The foursome negotiated some more, and then they started to walk away together. As they walked away, I was still able to hear what was going on. I won’t go into details!

The world needs Christ, and it needs Him desperately. I believe the Lord released a mantle that night for the church where I pastor. It came with understanding and I didn’t have to meditate on it. It just suddenly hit me.

The Lord placed a scripture on my heart found in Genesis 4. This scripture had been on my mind for the past eight to ten years. I have tried to wrap my mind around how a generation could be removed from the Garden, removed from perfection, and removed from being in the presence of God. How could they possibly enter into sin? I am talking about Cain and Abel. Or for that matter, how could Adam and Eve have walked away from the Lord?

I asked the Lord for understanding on this. Perhaps you have asked yourself the same question at one time or another. We may be multiple generations removed from the Garden, but the Lord has still called us to a Garden experience with Him. You were made for total communion and fellowship with the creator of the universe. His plans and purposes have never changed for humanity. The question is when—when will this be achieved? I believe the end time generation will experience such a realm that will draw all men unto Him (see John 12:32).

In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the Lord. But Abel brought fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offering, but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast.

Then the Lord said to Cain, Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it.

Now Cain said to his brother Abel, Let’s go out to the field. And while they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him. (Genesis 4:3–8, NIV).

Why is this scripture significant to the presence of the Lord in our lives? Sin is the very instrument that prevents us from walking in not only the revelation of the Lord but His very presence here on earth. Can you remove sin from your own life? Absolutely not, but if we confess our sin He is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness, which allows us free access to everything He has for us. The realm of heaven is available to us by the Spirit of the Lord. Let there be a new flow of His presence in your life today. Simply enter in by the Spirit that has been so richly extended to you.

    Enemy at the Gate

At one time, I thought there were three types of thoughts in our minds all vying for attention at the same time—God’s thoughts, my thoughts, and the devil’s thoughts. After my experience at the hotel, I realized that there are only two types of thoughts—God’s thoughts and wrong thoughts directly in opposition to God. It may be a good thought, but if it is not God’s thought then it is still wrong.

There is a constant battle between God’s thoughts and wrong thoughts. The enemy is always at the gates, and the Lord is asking us to choose His thoughts. This is the key. It can’t be taught. It can only be captured by the Spirit of the Lord. There are so many wrong thoughts that come into our minds. As Christians, we are in the process of becoming like Jesus. Why does the Word say to pray that you will have understanding, pray that you will have wisdom, and pray that you will have the mind of Christ? Whether you like it or not, you have a mind and there is a battle raging over your mind.

    Choices to Make

In Genesis 4, there was a battle going on between Cain and the mandate of heaven. There are constant battles raging in our minds between heavenly thoughts and other thoughts intent on pulling us away from His purposes. Through these battles the Lord is saying, You have some choices to make. Some of the reasoning behind your choices may be wrong, and some of your thinking is not God’s thinking. As a matter of fact, you must check every motivation of your heart to find out whether or not it is rooted in Christ at that particular moment. If not, then you need to ask the Lord for His grace to walk in His plans and purposes.

Our hearts are incredibly complicated. They will lie to us and justify ungodly behaviour and action that does not line up with the Word of God. I point this out because it is so important that we follow after the presence of God. When we have the presence of God, our thought life will start to flow from heaven. Thinking wrong is only part of the sin.

There was a big difference in the offerings that were brought to the Lord from Cain and Abel. One offering had blood in it and the other offering came from the fruit of Cain’s labour. Without going into the details, which in itself would require a complete book, the Lord was looking for an offering that required blood. In Genesis 4, God shows that He is so gracious and merciful to those not deserving mercy. When Cain gave the wrong offering, God went to Cain and reminded him out of love instead of saying that he had messed up. This is the mercy of God. He only corrects those He loves.

Cain became angry with God for bringing him correction and unleashed that anger on his brother. Has this ever happened to you? We don’t often like correction, because it that we are wrong. It offends our hearts to be corrected. Cain didn’t like God’s reaction, and because of this he allowed sin to enter in, resulting in anger and ultimately the death of Abel.

Have you ever heard of the principle of cause and effect? If you speed, you will likely get a speeding ticket at some point, because there is a law in place making speeding illegal. This is a simple example of cause and effect. When we break the law, there are consequences. Cain fell into sin because he had brought the wrong offering and couldn’t handle the correction that God brought to him. Sin is sin to God. When the Lord tries to correct you, your response is so very important.

Why did God say that there was no one like David? David committed murder, slept with another man’s wife, and did some pretty heavy stuff in anyone’s eyes. Still, God said there was no one like him. Why? Because when he was corrected, he would respond by saying, Against you, Lord, I have sinned. Sin is always against God and will always prevent the kingdom of heaven from manifesting in your life—until you make it right with the Lord.

In one of our services, I once made a comment that all death is related to sin. As a result of that passing statement, a lady who was in attendance became angry with me, because her mother had died. She told me that her mother had been a great, God-loving person. I said to her, I have no doubt that she was a great Godly woman. Regardless, we have all sinned and we are all going to die. Scripture is clear that sickness and death are totally related to sin. I am not trying to offend you, but it is a reality. We need to understand this principle in scripture.
