An Introduction To Depression
Sometimes we feel sad and generally it is not for long duration. But there are many people who suffer from sadness all the time. There are no special reasons for this and it cannot be explained by the sufferer also. In such state people suffer from depression. As per a rough estimate it is found that about 9% of people are suffering from depression. This is big population that is affected from depression who are not well. Many of these people are even not aware that they have depression.
Before we begin to discuss why depression may occur or the types of depression that exist, it's important to understand that there is often a treatment that is available. In this book, we are going to discuss some of the medical treatments that are available for depression and some of the natural treatments that have been used by millions of people to overcome their depression, without the use of medication. It is important to understand that we are not giving medical advice and it is up to you to decide which treatment to use. We are simply describing some of the more common treatments, so that you can make a more informed decision about what you are going to do.
