    From the Publisher

    Dear Student,

Welcome to the third quarter of study in God’s Word! The Baptist Training Union’s curriculum series, Contemporary Training for the Church, is a great tool for spiritual growth that enables disciples of Jesus Christ to learn more about the Bible and how to apply its principles to their lives. For this quarter, we will study passages that will educate you on your Christian walk while you follow the example of Jesus. Each lesson in this quarter will highlight different aspects that relate to your personal walk with Christ. Your Christian walk requires a lifetime of growth that affects every aspect of who you are and how you live your life. The R.H. Boyd Publishing Corporation hopes this quarter will uplift your spirit as well as strengthen your Christian walk. We pray that you will grow closer to God and be empowered for service in the Kingdom of God.

May the Lord bless you and keep you,

    Dr. T. B. Boyd III

    President/CEO

INTRODUCTION TO THE NEW BAPTIST TRAINING UNION’S (BTU) CURRICULUM SERIES: CONTEMPORARY TRAINING FOR THE CHURCH (CTC)

This new series is a ministry of church training. The discipline of the Contemporary Training for the Church directs church membership training in the distinctive beliefs held by the community of faith. This ministry is designed as an essential part of the total educational program of the church.

The curriculum series is for the spiritual development and enhancement of the Baptist Training Union’s expanded ministry program. It invites participation by all members of the family and empowers them to become good stewards of the faith community’s household of faith.
