- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I love a kid's picture book that shares useful information in an amusing way. Okay, probably your child doesn't have to wash a mammoth. Mine never did: we just left them outside when it rained. But maybe your child will have to wash a dog, which I imagine is quite similar. (Saber tooth cats are easier, they wash themselves)
Cute and funny.
Library copy. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5If your woolly mammoth needs a bath, it’s important to make sure you do it correctly. They are tricky to clean! Lucky for the reader, this book gives a step-by-step guide to making sure your mammoth gets cleaned the right way. The diagrams show how to add water, get the mammoth into the tub, scrub the mammoth, shampoo, and style the mammoth’s hair. But whatever you do, don’t get shampoo in the mammoth’s eyes or you might have to get it down from the tree and then you’ll both need a bath!
This adorable book is fun for anyone to read. The cute little girl wears a raincoat and rain boots, showing the hazards of washing a mammoth. All of the illustrations are cute and fun, and there are things that readers might catch on rereading that they didn’t notice the first time. Even though most readers won’t ever need to bathe a mammoth, they might have to bathe a dog or a cat and this book can be a fun way to talk about how to take care of a pet. This fun book will entertain readers of all ages. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5It's complicated ... and fun.
