Adam J.B. Lane was born in London and grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He studied, in the loosest sense of that word, at Harvard University and the California Institute of the Arts. He has labored for the Walt Disney Company, seen his animation appear on MTV, and authored two previous picture books for children, Monsters Party All Night Long and Stop Thief! In his spare time he draws comics for The Boston Globe.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Cute, but not really my cup of tea. Randall, a very young boy, suddenly declares that he is no longer a little boy. This means he no longer sleeps with is stuffed pig. After difficulty trying to sleep, he goes downstairs and finds a robber stealing his pig (and only his pig). He chases the robber all over the city yelling "Stop Thief" all the way to a hot air balloon. the balloon runs into a building and randall ends up saving the theif, getting a key to the city, and falls asleep with his stuffed pig. I thought it was going to be a dream, but it was apparently real. The images in the story were nicely done and quite entertaining.
