Silvia writes erotic romance in a variety of genres including contemporary, paranormal, and historical. She can often be found haunting coffee shops looking for the darkest, strongest cup of coffee she can find. Once equipped with the needed fuel, she can happily sit for hours pounding away at her laptop. Silvia typically leaves home disguised as a suburban stay-at-home-mom, and other coffee shop patrons tend to ask her hilarious questions like “Do you write children’s books?” She loves watching the looks on their faces when they learn what she’s actually up to. When not writing, Silvia enjoys baking sinful treats, exploring new styles of cooking, and reading children’s books to her incorrigible offspring.

CHAPTER ONE
Dan let the screen door of his parents’ house slam behind him.
How could you do this to your mother?
You’re not gay Dan, you gotta get over that shit.
The angry words of his father and brother followed him down the steps and into the driveway. He sure knew how to ruin his own birthday. Here he was thirty years old and alone. No man to love him since he’d spent his whole adult life hiding who he was and now, no family to support him. Fuck!
He was in no shape to drive so he started walking. A few blocks away, he spotted a sign on a camper saying it was for sale. He’d already decided he was due for a long vacation, maybe one at Fontana Lake where his family had gone every year when he was a kid. What if he took a longer sabbatical, got a camper, headed up into the mountains, and just roamed? Running away wasn’t the answer to his problems, but neither was staying where he wasn’t wanted. He needed time to consider what to do next. Move? Say the hell with the haters and stay in Loudin, Georgia where, to most people, being openly gay was synonymous with being a minion of the devil? Even those that didn’t care who he slept with saw him as an object of curiosity.
He knocked on the door of the house with the camper, and a man answered in his PJs. It was only about seven thirty on a Saturday morning. Why did I come out to my family before I even finished my first cup
