(8 books + 2 tie-ins)AMISH BY ACCIDENT TRILOGY: Amish by Accident was originally a stand-alone book (my first book released!) It was SO different (that was my crazy imagination kicking in), I was unsure how readers would respond (or if anyone would even read it, LOL). And then the reviews started coming in! As of today, the book has 700+ Amazon reviews with a 4.5 STAR average! PRAISE THE LORD!!! I ended up writing a sequel and a prequel, thus the trilogy. :) (3 books)AMISH SECRETS SERIES: Oh, boy! This series tackles some pretty intense topics that you likely won't read about in your mainstream Amish fiction books. The first book in this series, An Unforgivable Secret is currently FREE in ebook. This was another one that I was unsure how it would resound with readers. It currently has 1900+ Amazon ratings and reviews with a 4.5 STAR average! GOD IS GOOD! Authors’ Note

It should be noted that the Amish people and their communities differ one from another. There are, in fact, no two Amish communities exactly alike. It is this premise on which this book is written. We have taken cautious steps to assure the authenticity of Amish practices and customs. Both Old Order Amish and New Order Amish are portrayed in this work of fiction and may be inconsistent with some Amish communities.

We, as Englischers, can learn a lot from the Plain People and their simple way of life. Their hard work, close-knit family life, and concern for others are to be applauded. As the Lord wills, may this special culture continue to be respected and remain so for many centuries to come, and may the light of God’s salvation reach their hearts.

    Dear Reader,

We felt an introduction was needed for this book for those of you who have not read the Amish Girls Series. The Amish Girls Series is about various teenaged girls, set around the small town of Paradise, Pennsylvania. In book four, Susanna’s Surprise, readers learn that Susanna Hostettler has a twin sister, thought to have died at birth. Her twin sister has been raised by an Englisch woman, Katrina, the protagonist of A Christmas of Mercy.

Susanna’s sister, named Maryanna by her birth family, has grown up as ‘Andrea Thompson’, Katrina’s daughter. Maryanna, aka Andrea, is Englisch through and through. However, when she begins dating Matthew Riehl, a young Amish man, Maryanna returns to her roots.

When Maryanna realizes she can never truly become Amish, she and Matthew seek for a compromise so they can marry. The bishop, Maryanna’s biological father, suggests the couple join a more liberal Plain group, to which the couple agrees. Thus, the story continues…

    CHAPTER ONE

Maryanna Hostettler hollered down the stairs when she heard the kitchen timer buzzing, "Mamm, will you take the bread out of the oven for me, please?"

    "Sure, dochder," Lydia called back.

Maryanna glanced out her bedroom window, a towel still wrapped around her body, relieved when she didn’t see a car driving up the lane. She’d just finished her bath and hadn’t had time to get dressed or apply her makeup. She didn’t think she’d ever adjust to the Amish lifestyle after being Englisch the first seventeen years of her life. Now twenty-one, and on the verge of being married to a former-Amish man, she’d learned many of the skills needed to become a proper housewife for her beloved Matthew Riehl.

"Your Englisch Mamm is here," Lydia’s voice rang up the stairs two minutes later.

Maryanna looked into the mirror on her dresser, and frowned at her wet hair. Things would be so much easier if she could use her blow dryer instead of a towel. But her father’s district, like most other Amish groups, didn’t allow for electricity. Please let her know I’ll be a little while.

The voices downstairs informed Maryanna that Katrina had entered the home. Maryanna hastily twisted her hair at the nape of her neck and secured it with a butterfly clip. She glanced into the mirror again and cringed at her appearance. Thankfully, she wouldn’t be seeing Matthew today. The last thing she wanted was for her fiancé to see her in such a state.

Andrea, we need to go! Now Katrina’s voice was calling for her. Your fitting is at eleven.

Coming, Mom! Maryanna rushed down the stairs, cosmetic
