David B. Wynn
I started out in the casino business in Las Vegas in the late 80's. Held almost every position in the casino business dealing with table games, from dealer all the way to casino manager. Now retired after 20 + years I have decided to write what I know about most, the table games in the casino business. My first published book, "Guide to Blackjack Success" is a no nonsense, tell it like it is book. It fully explains the game, not just how to play but why, and how to bet for success. I plan to write more books on other casino table games such as craps and roulette, so look for them in the coming months. I am writing these books in hopes that the people that read and understand them will be successful and have more fun while playing, also to help send my kids to college. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I especially want to thank you for buying my book.

Introduction
Blackjack is a simple game using a single or multiple decks of cards. You (the player) play against the dealer (the house). The highest hand value up to 21 wins. If you go over 21 (bust) you lose, that’s it. Easy enough. Simple right?
There is an intimidating factor when you first sit down at a blackjack table, but don’t worry, the game was made that way for a reason, to intimidate. The dealer stands over the table and controls the flow of the game, while the players sit at the table each with his/her own little betting spot and little stack of playing chips. This is the house (casino) trying to make you feel inadequate, less than, showing that they are in complete dominating control. That’s how the game is set up, but the game itself is fun and can be very rewarding too.
The reason for this is intimidation is the fact that the house (casino) would rather you stay away from the table games and put your money in
