In November of 2014, I set a world record for most pull-ups done in 24 hours. At the time I was 54 years old. This book provides a description of the steps that I took to achieve this goal. The steps emphasize the importance of the mindset that was used. This approach can be used to achieve any significant goal. It is not limited to athletic goals nor is it only for athletes. It's for everyone.

Mark K. Jordan successfully completed 4321 pull-ups within 24 hours on November 3rd and 4th of 2014. He was 54 at the time. It was recognized by Guinness as an official world record about 3 months later. Mark has been a health and nutrition enthusiast throughout his life. In his 20's, he enjoyed track sprinting. In his 30's he started heavy weight lifting including 3 years of bodybuilding. In his 40's he started doing long-distance road cycling. In his 50's, he combined all of his previous activities into a cross-functional training regimen that he uses today to maintain his level of health and conditioning.Mark's background includes almost 20 years in marketing and sales in research driven health setting. Before that, he had 8 years of training and research as a Chemist in clinical laboratory setting. He is currently active in the Wellness sector providing unending energy and enthusiasm to what he does.

Why this was written:
In November of 2013, at age 53, I decided to challenge myself physically and do something that I had never done. I knew that I had certain abilities or gifts as I like to call them, but I didn’t know how far they could take me. I decided that it was finally time to find out. It was crazy being in my 50’s and challenging my body (and my mind) to accomplish new things. And, these things were different from what others had accomplished to that point.
Most pull-ups within 24 hours!
Some of the reactions included, Mark, you’re in incredible shape for a guy your age, but do you know what kind of numbers we’re talking about?
or Mark, do you know the age of the last guy who set that record?
or my favorite, Mark, at your age, you know you’re past your physical prime, which makes you more likely to get hurt and less likely to succeed.
Combine those statements with the lack of specific directions on how to do the most pull-ups within 24 hours. There are no Pull-ups for Dummies guides nor books titled Everything You Always Needed to Know about doing Pull-Ups for Hours, but were Afraid
