    Daniel Wallace is the author of five novels. His first, Big Fish, was made into a motion picture of the same name by Tim Burton in 2003, and a musical version on Broadway in 2013. He is a contributing editor to Garden & Gun magazine and is the J.       Daniel Wallace is a local-to-me author, and his children's book was published in a new crowd-sourced publishing venture started by the son of a friend of mine, so I do have personal connections to this book. My 6-year-old and I also went to the book launch party and got a signed copy. It is a cute and funny book, perhaps best for a slightly younger demographic.
