About this ebook
Game of Destiny Book II: Secrets continues the story of the oddment quest began in Game of Destiny Book I: Willow.
Willow and her companions struggle to understand the forces of chaos and violence that continue to escalate within their communities of peace.
But efforts to follow the clues preserved within an oddment for millennia by their dolfin friends to a powerful artifact are thwarted at every turn.
Willow, a young healer, is dispirited and frightened by the gathering threats from rogue elements and suspected spies within their borders. The quest stalled, she focuses her attention on fulfilling her dreams of building a dolfin clinic.
Everam, learning of an ancient map that would aid them in their quest to locate the Staff of Truth that was revealed within the mysterious oddment, travels to Greelys Folly to recover it. His attempt, however, leads to catastrophe.
Geldane’s impatience with Etus’s weak preparations to battle an incipient invasion by unknown armed troops is partially mollified when he joins the new Fighting Bos training at a secret base.
Far across the Madrid Sea, Clarity, kidnapped in her youth to serve at the Valorous Gentleman’s Club in Rebar City, fails at her ploys to bolster her status and is forced to board a ship bound for a distant land. There, deep within heavily forested mountains, she meets the general commanding an army encamped within a newly constructed fort.
The tranquility enjoyed by the communities of Etus is poised to take a deadly turn.
The Sword of Deceit pounds at their doors.
