About this ebook
Feisty orphan Pippa de Lacey lives by wit and skill as a London street performer. But when her sharp tongue gets her into serious trouble, she throws herself upon the mercy of Irish chieftain Aidan O'Donoghue.
Pippa provides a welcome diversion for Aidan as he awaits an audience with the queen, who holds his people's fate in her hands. Amused at first, he becomes obsessed with the audacious waif who claims his patronage.
Rash and impetuous, their unlikely alliance reverberates with desire and the tantalizing promise of a life each has always wanted; but never dreamed of attaining.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Pippa is quite the character. it is always a surprise what she is going to say and do. Aidan is so troubled and must endure so much pain I hope they live happily ever after
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Very good story; I really enjoyed this trilogy. Wonderful characters and a great plot. I loved the way this family line twists through three generations.I really liked the gypsy twist and prophesy; I liked the first story with the Russian twist; the second book was OK; but this third and final tale was the best. I liked the Irish theme and the complexity of these last characters was complex, moving, and worth the read. I couldn’t put this book down.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved this book! My favorite of the trilogy. I absolutely LOVED Aiden. I hated Felicity's character, but was surprised with how we came about actually meeting her. I really came to care about the characters and was crying near the end. Thought the ending was so great, made me so happy. Great read!!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I liked the first half or so above average, but then my interest started dwindling, and the ending was a bit below average for me. So they kind of canceled each other out. There was some major and unnecessary secret keeping, which is kind of tedious, and it just lost some of its charm. But, overall, it was 'okay'.
