      The tale of a marriage, not really a romance. The NICU wasn't quite right (which I know about), so I have no idea if the extensive writing on the "Hot Shots" firefighting was right - but it did make the book interesting. Jackson is a hot shot firefighter, which makes him away from home a lot during fire season. But even when he's home, he's never at the house, missing a lot of Heidi's childhood & of no support to Lexie. Lexie got fed up & divorced him, but had one more night with him before he left for Russia - that left her pregnant. He's almost killed in a fire in Russia, so he comes home broken, but will Lexie take him back? And when she delivers Henry 2 months premature, Jackson is convinced that he's bad news for his family & maybe he shouldn't stick around. Family reunion in the end.
