      Different than the usual by this author. Minte hass been caring for her parents, but now at 23 she decides to persue nursing. A colleague of the family doc, Dr. Marcus, needs a nanny for a few weeks while he cares for his nephews in Holland. So, Minte is hired for the job, temporarily putting her plans on hold. She's waspish to the doc, who doesn't realize that she's what he's been waiting for all his life, until she heads back to London for training - leaving him to pursue her.

      Romance is romance. My Mother loves Betty Neels books, and I pick my Mum's romance recommendations (as I am not usually into this genre that much) whenever I need a quick step-away from whatever it is that I'm reading at that moment. Betty Neels's books are all sweet, slow-paced, and... nice -- but a little too old-fashioned for me, I suppose.

      The two-star rating is not so much a two-star as it is the "itsokay" note that GR assigns to it. I rec this book to folks who love romance genre. Betty Neels never really disappoints, you know how her stories unfold.
